its not thru ebay, per se. they tell you they want you to use some ebay escrow service, then they'll ship the car once its cleared. you send money, they dont send car, you get screwed

my dad showed me one of these a couple years ago...he kinda explained it as them using tiny mics placed in the ear so the sound is replicated exactly as you'd year it...it wasnt as creepy as i thought that one would turn out to be, but same effect and the bag over the head creeped me out a bit...the whisper even more

no spandex/lycra here. lol. and a tire swap is easy...can pull your tires off and put on some skinnys in <15 minutes. if you dont have the stuff to do it, tools are cheap and i even have them if you want to stop by.

you guys need to get in on some road bike rides...now been 3 saturdays straight a few of us have went out...did 40 miles this past saturday, and going to try for ~50 this weekend. right now im just debating if i want to do the same trail we just did (albeit without all the wind we had saturday, im hoping) or if i want to drive ~45 minutes to a new trail. johnstown to newark was a good ride and would be much better on a calm day

i had a guy at work asking me if ebay was secure, then saying he was buying a car off craigslist and the seller wanted him to use that... since he just got to my department and i dont know him, i almost didnt give a shit, but then i basically explained the ad to him without seeing it (40% price of what its worth, wants to use ebay, cant see it in person, getting shipped, etc) and told him if he did it and got burned, i'd laugh my ass off at him

let me know if you find someone. grant (GMoney) said he's down for another ride next week, and i'd like to do at least another 35-40 miles, but i dont know if i want to do the same trail again...its hard to find many long distance trails around here. i will say though, without the wind we had saturday, we would have been a good bit faster...there were times it was whipping me so hard, i had trouble doing 8-9mph. LOL. the wind was coming at us on the way to newark, and coming at us on the way back...no luck for us.

well...what a ride. 40.03 miles in a hair over 3 hours of riding time. we ended up popping out at the YMCA in nurk, took church st up to 21st and north to arbys for some lunch, then back the same way....wind was fucking WICKED the whole day, but luckily the storm broke up before columbus so we stayed dry.

makes me think of this weeks "modern family" where the wife tells him to sleep in for his birthday and she'll get up to wait in line at 6 am for it, then falls asleep on the couch once shes up. lol
