  1. i picked up a jamis ventura earlier this summer, but i havent been on it in a couple months. working overtime at work and i dont feel like riding a trail ~5 miles at night. i need to get a light for it. i dont know if i have pics, but it doesnt look as sweet as that.
  2. uh, call the police? i hear they have a nifty records system.
  3. ferreal. how difficult was it to drive around the sprinkler to keep your car from getting water droplets. i probably would have said the same thing to a 20 year old douche bag that asked me to turn my sprinkler down because it was spraying the street.
  4. call thompson electronics on main st. in whitehall...ask for gary or karen and tell them evan sent you. they deal with that shit all day long
  5. bingo. it'd be a fuckload easier to sell a remington 870 than it would be to sell an ar-15. lot less suspicion
  6. lol. ive given up on most/all of these reality shows. ill watch dexter, weeds, house, deadliest catch, sometimes survivor (i got into the last season after missing the ~14 prior seasons), maybe some CSI. other than that my tv is usually on MSNBC, history, discovery, nat geo, or TLC (when shit like whats on tonight isnt). "the universe" on history > *
  7. this channel has been playing in the background all night because im too lazy to search for the remote. i have been looking up periodically and realizing that there are people out there that are beyond retarded 1 woman has spent 10-12k on vet bills in one year for her cats. same woman had a fucking "gotcha" party (i guess for the day she got the cat) for one of her cats. there were like 6 cats up on the table, eating cat treats. she had balloons, party decorations, the whole 9 yards. you see her calling all these people to come to this stupid party, and the only person who felt bad enough for her and came over was the vet. LOL. another woman puts her dog in costume contests. pays $150 for an hour long massage for a dog. HA. WTF! another woman was mad because she couldnt take her pet monkey into any grocery stores, claiming its a service animal because of agoraphobia and anxiety or something. she is trying to sue the county i think was what was going on then i look up and its 4-6 year olds in "beauty" pageants, getting manicures/pedicures/facials/massage/make up/hair done. the parents are so pathetic. i dont know how this shit makes it to TV. its ridiculous.

    Question

go in tomorrow, sniff the air, and ask your boss if he pissed himself
  9. nothing here at morse/sunbury. not even a flicker *knock on wood*
  10. people who wont let you pass them coming home from PA about a year ago, i was making REALLY good time. doing like 85-90 consistently. then i get behind this prick in a bmw that would go ~75ish, and would drive so he was passing the cars on the right, but when he got past them, he would speed up enough i couldnt even get by him on the right if i wanted to, then slowed down and passed a little slower when he came up on another car. girls who have to pee every 12 minutes. i finally just told my g/f "heres how long the trip is going to be, heres how many times im going to stop, so be ready for 5-6 hours of sitting. it worked well when we went to MB. 1 stop for breakfast at 9am, one for gas/piss break at 1ish, and one quick stop for some fresh peaches at a roadside stop about 4pm. i will say though, something i like doing on long trips, and for some reason i think other people do it to, is speed in packs of 3-4 cars. you know you're all going to be on the same freeway for quite some time, because its the only road in the area...it seems everyone gets over at the same time to pass the same car, gets back in lane, stays at same speed, and everyone just stays in the same order.
  11. heres what i would end up doing. looks fairly simple, cheap, and wouldnt take much time.
  12. i know i said my budget wasnt too tight, but the composite would throw me way over what i would want to spend
  13. checked the city website about fire pits, and i see this so if i built a pit from stone pavers thats ~2' tall, and maybe 30" inside diameter, would that fall under an "approved container" that would only have to be 15' from my house, or would that fall into the 2nd category? to me, it seems like the 2nd category is talking about just burning a pile on the ground not contained by anything... heres the full page for reference http://fire.ci.columbus.oh.us/Bureaus/FPB/fire_prevention_bureau_faq.htm
  14. im starting to think, maybe a wood deck with a small poured concrete area off the corner for a fire pit might be nice...maybe put the fire pit off the corner that goes more towards the middle of the yard. Ron, i'll probably take you up on that offer to try to put together a plan. let me figure out a few things and ill shoot you a PM to see when you have some free time Evan
  15. i wasnt going to laugh at giant tortise sex as ive even posted pics of a couple going at it from when we were in florida, but the "superman that ho!" came in perfect when his arms were just out there. i lol'd
  16. no, probably one of the main buildings. i think ive seen it at morse/hamilton rd before, and IIRC, he was turning left to go N on hamilton towards new albany area
  17. yes and no...i got back $ from my 1st time homebuyer credit (bought house in march) and spent about $3000 or so of it turning 2 bedrooms into 1 master, new carpet, new furniture for bedroom...still have some projects i want to do...but i am doing what i can to save money...got a couple people on here to do some work for me on the side which saved me A LOT of money from hiring a company to come out and do work, etc. but i have been trying to shop for more store brand stuff when we shop, aside from some things that have to be name brand (miracle whip, for example). when we eat out, we go to places that arent as expensive (red robin vs. damons, applebees vs champs) i have also been trying to save money, which in 24 years i have not been able to do. ive been working 10-12 hours of overtime/week when work offers it. i finally opened a savings account and ive been transferring all but a few hundred bucks to my savings account after my bills are paid. i dont have much now, but its A LOT more than i can say ive ever had at one point. ive also been trying to get ahead, and right now, ive got money set aside and in a seperate account for my car payment thru september, insurance is same, and i have my mortgage for next month set aside as of this past friday. it feels good to know im getting ahead and have some extra incase the SHTF
  18. took this down tonight. previous owners had it up, matches absolutely nothing i have. works fine. 3 small lights inside. insulation on the top is even still clean. purple, has some silver claw looking hooks to hold the cover up. $25 obo http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2733.jpg?t=1250487062 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2731.jpg?t=1250487062
  19. i PMed sam a week or two ago. right now i just have to make a choice as to whats going to look bestand suit my needs best.
  20. so a concrete patio would probably be the least maintenence? ive been looking around google and theres some pretty cool looking designs. any idea on warranties for concrete, as far as if cracks ever show up?
  21. i like to watch things like this when theyre usually breaking records by hundreths of a second, and think "when will it stop"...whats the limit the human body can put out?
  22. budget isnt too tight. im using the $$ i got back from my first time homebuyers credit. im hoping to do whatever i do for <$3k. if it ends up being way less, thats sweet. i just know i want a larger solid area (deck/patio) for people to be outside and have room to move around and not have to be out in the grass.
  23. yeah, the utilities suck. and it sucks more that i have wires running up the house, but i guess thats what i get with a house built the year i was born. no cable ran thru the house, so its all in after the fact. shutters arent a bad idea though...will probably look into that when i replace the windows. most have the seal broken and have condensation inside. hopefully i can replace them in the next year or two
  24. what ive got looks like shit, even without the weeds. weve killed them off once. not to mention, its tiny (10x10), uneven, crappy wood framing, etc.
