  1. if you can get a good rate you might be able to get in there for ~1200 a month, maybe less. i think when i was looking, at 5%, a $105k loan was gonna be $925 for taxes, insurance, principle/interest, etc.
  2. thats where im at. sadly though, i couldnt tell you if theyre hiring. you can look at http://www.alliancedatasystems.com and click the careers page, then navigate it by city and check out columbus and it will show open positions
  3. i know insurance can be high...about 14 months ago i was paying 206/mo for auto...i switched to state farm around feb 08, and since i bought my house last month and got a little more of a discount (i think it went from like 9% discount to 17%), im paying like $89/mo. the OP needs to shop around for insurance. thats insane. - if you want my agents name/#, PM me.
  4. can i ask what that whole set up run you? ive been trying to talk the g/f into lowering hers and upgrading the rear swaybar for a while
  5. walmart again. we just bought lights for all the lamps we had to get for the new house. i *think* they were around $1.40 each, but i could be wrong. i bought blinds and the g/f bought the lamps/bulbs, so i wasnt watching too closely
  6. before - http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2580.jpg?t=1238977944 after adding in the rest of the caps i had in the box... right side done to show difference http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2583.jpg?t=1238990592 both done http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2584.jpg?t=1238990592 what will be nice is since im just using screws to attach this to the table top, once i get another good bulk of caps, i can just remove them, and glue down some more to fill it up.
  7. holy fuck. 361/mo for INSURANCE! thats what i pay for like 5 months! i just want to reiterate...HOLY FUCK!
  8. well fuck him then. you still coming out?
  9. yep. 13% is nuts, but when i was 18, thats about the rate i had. i think right now im at 8.54% or something, which isnt great, but oh well. i guess my credit went up enough in the year from when i bought my car because i got my mortgage at 5.00%, which is about as good as it gets.
  10. theres still a few in the box of caps, but not enough to fill up all the empty space...im gonna work on them tonight when the g/f goes to bed. tell shaun its on for saturday night at my place!
  11. that 2nd one is sweet. i thought we were gonna have enough to cover the table completely, but i guess not. it'll do though.
  12. so after a couple days of planning/work, and about 3 years of saving beer caps from parties at my place and shauns, here's what me and the g/f created today these are just the tops...the actual table made of 2x4's and MDF base is out in the garage. and there will be more added. she started this while i was at work today. i came home and this is only about 70% of the caps...i gotta work in the rest to make them appear more dense. a dot of silicone glue on the tops of each one...i got a text saying her hand hurt from individually gluing each one..the side you see is clear plexiglass, so all the caps will be under the playing surface and out of the way. each sheet of plexiglass is 24"x48" http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2580.jpg?t=1238990764 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2581.jpg?t=1238990764 just need to work in the rest of the caps, and attach this to the top of the table outside. HA oh, if you have a sweet beer pong table, this can be the thread for pics. oh...dont you love how we finished this before putting the baseboards back down in the kitchen? lol
  13. which mazda3 16" is it? for that price id grab it for a full size spare for the g/f
  14. yeah, he did tell me he was really busy. i have a guy at work that needed some roof work done and i told dave i gave him his number, and he said "if he doesnt need it done right now, thats fine. ive got so much work its not funny"

  16. update - what you cant see in that last bathroom pic, is that i broke the f'n flange off pulling up what i thought was just the old wax ring. luckily, i realized what i did when i went to put the new toilet bolts in, before the trash went out. few bucks for some PVC cement and a couple hours later and it was good again. whew. pics from just a few minutes ago. house is still a mess since we havent unpacked but about 50% of our stuff, and been tearing apart boxes to get what we need then. got kitchen painted (no stripe like i wanted. apparently getting painters tape in a perfectly straight line is harder than it sounds). still need to paint and reinstall baseboards in kitchen and lower bathroom. got blinds hung up. fucking 60" windows ended up costing me $180 for 4 horizontal blinds and 1 set of verticals for the living room http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2561.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2562.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2564.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2565.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2566.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2567.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2568.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2569.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2570.jpg?t=1238795683 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2571.jpg?t=1238795683

    computer into tv?

i think i had asked about this a while back, and came to the conclusion my computer is too old/shitty to hook it up to my 60" i cant wait to get a new computer and hook it up to my tv.
  23. just to update, albeit a few days late... Dave came out over the weekend while we were moving in, got the roof patched up, and even hammered the nails back into the gutters (were loose) and cleaned them out for me! he said he figured it would be less than the estimate since he thought it would take 2 bundles of shingles, and it was a few shy of 1 full bundle, so i told him if it ended up being less, just to bill it for the amount he originally said for helping me out with the gutters. he said no! said he would just bill me for materials/labor. wow! he also gave me a couple pointers on a couple small questions i had in the house, and said if i ever needed any other advice, he's willing to chat. awesome thanks again Dave Sr!
