so i went up to the used car lot tonight to check out an 06 sonata...saw it online, called, they said it was there, so i went. i get there, guy looks it up, tells me its gone...ok, already not super happy. tell the guy im looking for something with 4 doors, auto/man dont care, low miles, etc...he shows me a 04 sentra spec-v ser. (yello w/ tinted windows if you go up there) with like 21k miles. i decide to try it out, see if i like it... so after about 30 minutes of waiting for this guy to find the guy w/ the gas card, then going to fill it up, he comes back. we go for a short spin (williams to alum creek and back down williams) and pull into the lot...as soon as i stop the car and get out, theres smoke coming from under the hood i said something about it, and the sales guy has the nerve to say "thats what happens when you go tearing down the street like that"...now mind you, i was not "tearing down the street" in any way/shape/form. so he pops the hood, and theres smoke coming from everywhere...its dark, so i look, see smoke on the exhaust manifold cover...look a little closer, see it on the engine cover...look closer, and i see THERE IS NO OIL CAP ON THE ENGINE so i told him there wasnt a cap on the engine, and he goes blaming service, etc etc. as he is going to walk in, my g/f noticed the cap was up infront of the bay, pretty much on top of the headlight...he goes in, his boss says "well what would you like to do". i asked him if he would buy a car that that just happened to, his response was "well that will get fixed"....hahah. no shit. in the end, he tried to get me to eat 3k on my current car as a trade in, and then sell me the spec-v for 12,800 (which he said they could "work on" that number, but says he dropped it to 12,800 because my uncle is the imports manager) i told him i wasnt interested, walked out, and laughed at the sentra still sitting there smoking

walmart on morse = little somailia i hate the fact that the only thing the cashiers can say is how much i owe for my bill, and if i ask one of them something, they just say "i dont know" plus, its the 1st of the month...what did you expect ???

you just made me the happiest person for this minute...my sister spilled red jones soda a few months back, i tried to get it up with a home steam cleaner i got from my grandma, with no luck...im gonna be calling them to see if i can get it out once and for all

so the apartment im living in isnt really great as far as being able to set up some surround sound and have it look good. where i have to arrange the furniture makes running wires and making it look good very difficult ive been thinking about a wireless surround sound system...something i can just hang on the wall in the spots i want and have the base on my tv. what would be some good products to look into. i dont need it to be movie theatre loud, as i have neighbors, but something that would give me sound coming from all angles and not just from the tv would be good. not looking to drop a huge amount of cash either...anything below say 500$ would be good

well i called them up today on my break to see if they got my MVR report back...when they say any violations in the last 5 years, they mean EVERYTHING...they included a tint ticket (non moving), equipment violation (speeding pleaded down), an accident which i did not get a ticket for, nor did i go through insurance for it, an "accident" where a woman tried to pass me on the left when i was backing out of a space, no ticket, but insurance had to pay out on it but even with all these things i didnt even think to include, and i had forgotten about on some of them, they said it would be around 960/6 months, which came out to i think about 165$/mo...still almost 50$/mo cheaper now to those who are saying filing a claim w/ allstate sucks, have you people had progressive to compare to? would it be worth the extra $45/mo to stay with progressive or are they gonna try to shaft me as bad as allstate?

out of sheer boredom last night, i decided to call them up and see what they wanted to cover me. right now, for full coverage through progressive, im paying around 210/mo...now progressive only checks back 3 years, and in that time, i have an accident and a ticket, from the same incident. allstate goes back 5, which has a lot more stuff in those 2 years... when i checked with allstate, it came out to being under 800$/6 months (about 140ish), and that was for full coverage, plus all the accident forgiveness, 5% off for 6 months without an accident, etc etc i wanted to see if anyone uses allstate, and if so, how they were about handling claims if/when they came up. they seem like a reputable company, but i wanted to check with some people first hand before i make the switch

never turn mine off either....now, the laptop im on now (g/fs) gets turned off whenever its not being used

i dont have a way to accuratly (sp??) measure the depth...i tried to see if i could do it with a basic ruler and it measured out to about 3/16th (6/32) and new theyre 11/32...so a little less than 1/2 way down

i do collections, which doesnt sound like a great job, but its 40 hours a week, same schedule every week, good incentive plan, the more you collect, the more you make...my boss was showin me some of the bonus checks from when she managed AMEX, there were people making 6-9k bonus checks on average, along with 20+$/hr. they would easily pull 125k/yr doing collections. ive been doing it for a couple years, didnt plan on sticking with it long, but the money keeps me there. 21 year old single guy with ~3k/mo income, im happy

i try to do the hook everytime i go out, and i think i try to hard because for a couple days after, my arm stiffens up real bad and i cant even bend my elbow enough to scratch my head needless to say, i dont bowl much anymore
