  1. currently im living in an apartment, and in my laundry room, i have no where to hang clothing while im doing the laundry...is there something i can put up, similar to a shower pole that will expand into the walls and hold some clothes? i really would prefer not to put nails/screws into the walls and have to fix it later...i would like something i can take down in 2 min and have no traces left once im done oh, btw, its maybe 30" wide room...just big enough for a washer or dryer (sit opposite each other) to fit in with a few inches on each side
  2. got nailed by a dublin cop there today...apparently its a 55 zone, and not 65 like i thought. i guess theyre always there, but for those of you who are hardly out there like me, watch out for em
  3. id rather go down with a fight then to give up before anything happens ive really been trying to clear up my record from when i was younger. from the time i got my license til about my 19th birthday i had 2 speeding tickets (35 in a school zone 20 and 70 in a 55 on 62 in BFE), one accident, bumped someone in a parking lot, assured clear distance ahead from an accident...the only thing on my record now is the ACDA/accident (same event) that was june 04, and will drop off this june... i honestly thought i was only doing 5 over, which no one will hassle you about, and when he pulled me over im just like WTF. /off topic, anyone ever try the 'write the check for 3-5$ over and when they send you the refund, trash it :evil grin: ...i know a guy who 'says' hes done it 3x and has no points...not sure how much i believe him. lol
  4. ha. like i said, im hardly out there...i think ive honestly driven out there about 8 times since i got my license 5 years ago...everything i need/do is on the east side.
  5. so today i got hit with a ticket for speeding...70 in a 55. it was on 33 and 270, coming back from marysville for my g/fs family reunion, with her, her sister, and her b/f in the car...im out that way maybe 2x a year, so i didnt have any idea. was going with traffic, got on the entrance ramp to 270 and he pulled me over right there. normally i know im doing something wrong, and just pay the ticket. i honestly had no clue, and everyone in the car is wondering why im getting stopped... it pissed me off i was in a line of traffic that was coming off 161 (is that the freeway about a mile before 270 on 33?) going with the flow, quite a few hopped off to go 270 south, i was with a couple cars going to northbound 270...instead of doing like i normally would and go into the left lane and speed up past them, i just decided to wait it out in the line of traffic. if i was speeding, which i guess i was, thats fine with me...but im pissed off that because he decided to go after me and no one else, when i was in a group of cars that i would like to plead it down to a non-moving violation. the fine doesnt bother me, im just on the last part of getting my driving record cleaned up and here comes some dumb ass ticket again. any ideas on how i can get this pleaded down?
  6. the powdercoat acts like a new coating. its hard to even scratch, and is very smooth, so it seems like dirt doesnt stick to them very well. he said that with the powdercoat, i *COULD* wax, wetsand, buff, polish, etc, anything i would do to paint. i had them on all summer, sprayed em down when i washed the car and actually took them off and washed them once. they still look good on my buddys car i will say though, the only thing i didnt like was the fact i got them done black. i shoulda known owning a black car, they show dust easily. i would say with a stock color like silver, they will look a lot better if you dont clean them for a while
  7. found em...here is before (w/ old brakes too) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT6325.jpg?t=1165727678
  8. around that. the wheels i took to rick had 3-4 coats of paint from the previous owner (i might have some pics of them before) and he had them a couple weeks blasting them. i guess the wheel had an original powdercoat that was a bitch to get off as for him fixing the rash, the lip of the wheel was trashed beyond belief (again, previous owner)...he did what he could for 50$ or whatever he charged me, and while it wasnt 100% perfect, the powder filled up some of the small marks left, and once the tire was mounted, you couldnt even tell unless you were up at the wheel looking for it he does a lot of powdercoating on motorcycle parts...its just a little place, but he does some good work...he also strives to do the best he can. i went there wanting a deep gloss black, and he called me up after a couple days, and told me he got a bad batch of powder. he said he was gonna shoot them again, called me back later that day, said he was gonna order more powder...i told him to hold on so i could come see them, as you see in the pics, theyre not really deep gloss, but i liked it. he was trying to get me to let him do it to what i originally asked for, but i told him they looked great...awesome customer care if you ask me
  9. wheres this place at? and im assuming its 18+...tryin to get a few guys to go out for a while now, but a couple are 19/20 and cant get into any clubs but some shit ones we found
  10. i took them to rick (rs69) and he sandblasted them, but when i got them to the guy he said they needed a little more where in the corners it didnt all come off...he charged me 50$/each to powdercoat, 50$ to repair curb rash (wheelmedic wanted like 110) and 60$ or so to finish the sandblasting. figure itll cost you 75-100 to sandblast them all, it needs to be down to bare aluminum, and another 200$ to coat the wheels (for 15"...larger will probably be a little more)
  11. damn i wish it was 2 years down the road when i will be ready to buy
  12. so you got the bike back that the guy stole over the summer? did you find out who it was?
  13. just get them powdercoated whatever color you want. theres a guy at james/70 i went to that did my 15s for 50$/wheel, and fixed curbage on 3/4 of a wheel for 50$. heres a pic of the wheels he did http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT6427.jpg his name is jason, 614.207.4705. he had told me 5-6 days turn around time, but had them ready in i think 3 (its been a few months) the powdercoating holds up amazingly well...my buddy has them now and they still look great after a quick hose down
  14. yeah, i saw the pics of the grego show...unfortunately i only get to listen to it from 730-750 on my way to work ...but i did find out i can view the grego cam at work (which is wierd caus theres a streaming media filter) but that chick on there today..."shy love" or something...whew...smokin hot
  15. i thought the midget running was great too...as for seats, we got them not long after they came out (few weeks maybe) and chose "best available", and we were 5 rows from the back of the balcony. view sucked but it was funny as hell "sometimes i like to eat at that restaraunt"
  16. holy shit. i just got home a little bit ago. 100x better than the shows, just because none of it is censored. i have never laughed so hard in my life. if you get a chance, he has a great live show. anyone else go to the show? i know one started at 10, so you may not be back yet
  17. i dont know why, but as fucked up as that was, i laughed my ass off
  18. no fireplace here. i have a space heater which could get this place to 85 degrees if i left it on for the day, but ive always heard they use a shitload of energy...i dont really run it very often.
  19. i was making a suggestion. if he doesnt want to go there, he doesnt have to. i DO recall him saying and didnt someone mention 130$ for dinner for 2? im sorry, maybe thats something you can do every night, but for the average person, 130$ for 2 people to eat is crazy
  20. joes crab shack if you're just wanting to go out for a good time
  21. so i live in a 2br appt. all electric. over the summer (june/july), it was about 75$/mo. next couple months it was 90-105. for oct (bill in november) i was able to get it down to 80$ by not leaving lights on, my roommate wasnt here to screw with the a/c, etc. so last month, i was really making an effort to get it down a bit more. when i went to work, i would turn the AC off. if it was cold when i got home, id turn it on (like 74) for the night, and off when i go to work the next day. there were a few periods when i didnt have it on for 3 days, and towards the end of last month, it was off for 5 days straight i get home today, get my bill, its up to 95$. WTF. how can i get this bill down some? seems nuts to me to be paying almost 100$ in electric for a <1k sq/ft appt

    Bambi

you got any good private land with some water? i had (might still have) a guy up in marengo who has a maybe 2 acre pond, he gets insane amount of geese on, and he just wants them gone...we were actually out pheasant hunting and he came up to us and asked if we hunted ducks/geese...we followed him 20 min to his property, looked good...went out following weekend, there had to be 60-80 geese...they flew away before we got in range, and didnt come back. they were so thick, i went out one day, was packing up about 11 (no birds), got the guys kayak pickin up decoys, then i hear em cominin. they get to about 6 feet above the water, i blast one (limit 2), then go to shoot the second, and ended up taking 2 with one shot i might have to make a trip up there if i get some free time
  23. i just thought i'd post it up for those interested. ive always heard its best if the tires arent touching each other. oh well...if you dont want it, dont buy it. for those who may be interested, there ya go
