Wednesday after i got off work i went up to the Whitesides in St. Clarisville, which Stolen 5.0 and Throttle jockey know whats up but anyway, i was test drivin a 2000 WS6 Ram Air TA i was lookin to buy and pulled it in to get some gas at the marathon across from the dealership. Behind a motor home was a protectd front end trailer with a Saleen 381 supercharged, so the hood said anyways. Red and a beautiful car, very impressed, not something you see every day, it had Pennsylvania vanity plates on it with Saleen 2 or something to that effect, I dont know how many letters/numbers fit Penn tags. It said saleen something but i really was to busy gawking to pay that much attention. No pics, if i would have had the digi cam i would have had pics of both the TA and the saleen but this info will have to suffice

Just picked up the new issue of high performance pontiac yesterday, ran a stock GTO vs a stock mach 1, both ran 13.5s at about 103 to 105 mph on their passes, the mach 1 ended up being like 1/100 faster in the end after it was all said and done. Also in the same mag, little of topic of course, vert LS1 black on black makin 1100 ponies just thought i would throw that in there.

Mine shakes pretty good as well, my buddies GTP did it to and we replaced the rotors, pads and all and it still does it, our next try is goin to be the rear rotors but I always thought it was weird that both of ours did it. Mines a 98 and his is a 97. I know that aint alot of help, just thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

if I remember correctly this has been brought up before but I cant remember so im asking again. I am wanting a colder plug for the GTP but not really sure what to look for, im not sure what they are now, stock is what mine is running at the moment. I was curious what anybody else uses, brand and how cold. Just lookin for some suggestions/ideas bout it. thanks Jamie

I got a tranny cooler from GP store and its in my trunk as we speak, and i am definatly putting it on mine, likes or dislikes, sorry chris, lol. and im ordering the new nose and pully as we speak. Big Grin smile.gif

Damn, I didnt even see replies to this until just now, lol. I ended up getting a new one through a body shop guy i know for 70 bucks. Didnt seem like to bad of a deal. It was a super easy fix though, i will probably pull my headlight when I race from now on, thanks. Jamie

Returning home from an adventure last night, I noticed that my driver side headlight was throwing a weird beam out, to the left I could see alot more than usual. I got out to look and I will be damned if my headlight cover was not gone, pissed me off. So now I need to replace that, wondering how tough it was, dont look to bad, but I think the whole assembly has to come out and new put in, its just the cover in front of the light but I dont think you can buy just that. Wondering if anyone knew for sure and could help me out, im callin up a few dealerships today and seein what I can find out. I was goin to call the insuracne company but my deductable is way up there. So any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have a 1998 GTP and it has the performance shift option located on the automatic shift knob. When the button is engaged, the light used to light up by my RPMs and say "perf shift" but now it says nothing, and even when the button is engaged, I dont thinks its doing what its supposed to be doing, it shift exactly the same with or without the button engaged. Just wondering if anybody had any advice or has delt with something along these lines that I might try to get it fixed. I would appreciate any help, thanks.
