  1. Wait, hasn't Tress not beat a top 10 team since Nov 2006 because of the same coaching erros? Wait, hasn't OSU put some of the most players in the NFL since then, yet the coaching makes the team look like they don't have the same level of talent?
  2. I was going to get personalized sportsman's plates for the truck, but the donation stays the same at $15, but the cost of the plates goes to $50... Yeah I'll just send a donation of $25 and be better off...
  3. Then when you renew next year you will get hit with the fee.
  4. Just FYI, the fees are going way way up Oct 1st. The girl at the BMV told me this today when I was thinking about getting personalized plates. It will cost an extra $50/year for personalized plates
  5. Yeah, I kinda wish I wouldn't have zoned out when my gf was explaining all the problems with the Hartz de-wormer. I do remember her saying that lots of people kill their cats with the Hartz
  6. Spot on offensive analysis http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Deconstructing-The-grisly-demise-of-Tresselbal?urn=ncaaf,189322
  7. Honestly, the biggest hit the Big Ten took Saturday was Michigan State losing to Central Michigan. MSU was supposed to be the #3 or 4 team in the Big Ten... not good.
  8. I know some of you are freaking out over the bashing of Tressel, but this defines what I am talking about. 4th down, wind at the back of the Buckeyes, 53 yard field goal... Tressel decides to take the delay of game to move them back 5 yards to get the room to punt. Ole Petey DECLINES the delay of game penalty, almost daring Tressel to try the field goal. Tressel pees down his leg, punts the ball away. USC takes the ball, drives 86 yards, wins by THREE POINTS.
  9. Disagree, while the offense did look young (remember, all new receivers, running backs, and most of the line) they did as well as they could for the 2nd game. The coaches did not make the play calls that would have allowed the offense to put more points up. No QB sneak on the goalline? Punting on a 52 yard field goal? Running Boom up the gut and never trying Saine (when all Saine did was pount people last week and Boom looked horrible).
  10. http://www.the-ozone.net/football/2009/usc/posgame/noteandquotebook.htm The next play was a 26 yard completion to the tight end who split the seam on the cover 2 and it wasn't really anyone's fault, just the perfect play call for that defense.
  11. And anyone could see that the drive USC made at the end of the game was McKnight's drive, not Barkley's. He had 56 of the 86 yards, or 65% of the yards on that drive. Also, I don't know what you are talking about with "The play of the game was when we allowed them to convert a 3rd and about 13 from their own 5 yard line. Russell got toasted again" They had 2nd and 19 and McKnight ran for 11 yards, then on 3rd and 8 he got mismatched with Ross Homan which was a bad defensive call and burned him for 21 yards.
  12. My gf's over the phone diagnosis is it's from the wormer. Hartz has lots of side effects and you should never ever use it. You should still see your normal vet
  13. The Parvo shits smell like death apparently. I've never smelled it, but my gf says that she can identify Parvo just from being in the same yard as a dog with it.
  14. Just FWIW, if you call OSU and mention parvo, you will see students in biohazard suits come out to get your dog.
  15. Yeah, and if you go in there, just complain about not having any money at all. Sometimes they try to get you to pay the exam fee anyways. Just say you don't have any money and heard you can have a student evaluate the dog for free. Basically the student would tell you if they thought it needed to come in immediately or if you can just wait to make an appt with your regular vet. I'd have my gf respond, but she is actually on @ OSU right now.
  16. You can take him to the OSU small animal ER and have a student look at him for free. They will advise you if it is more serious and needs attention or if it just seems to be from the wormer.
  17. You would be saving $1,000/month
  18. Uh huh... so if you did your job well 80% of the time, yet screwed up your biggest most important, most challenging projects by making the same mistakes and not learning from them, would you still have your job? Yes or No
  19. umm.... No, it's not. Explain how you think that is the worst analogy. Please, I can't wait for this great answer.
  20. If you kept screwing up the same way over and over at work, would you keep your job?
  21. That's like saying the unemployed guy almost got a job today. When it comes down to it, he still isn't getting paid.
  22. I've had his back for years, but the same coaching mistakes every game is inexcusable.
  23. It's like that. Same mistakes causing losses in the same manner.
