Had a friend that served jury duty. The case was two older women get in an accident in a mall parking lot. 7 months later, the one woman is suing the other for back problems incurred from this incident. 7 months later, from an accident that couldnt possibly be more than 15-20mph.

Suing for 1 million dollars!

I told my friend, i hope you didnt give her that, in 7 months an older lady could have tripped over her cat and gotten back problems!

he said, no, we only gave her 700k.

 

700,000 fucking dollars!

 

now i know this dosent involve the doctors, but this is just another case of the absolutely absurd lawsuits that are allowed to enter our court systems and it needs to be fixed.

I guarantee you 80%+ of the time, NAPA has the exact same part as advance auto, but they slap a NAPA sticker over top and charge 10-20% more

The simple is basic fact is, go where you like it.

Someone with a carbed hemi comes to me, im not going to be much help, but a fuel injected OHC, and im a bit more knowledgable. Im not saying i dont know a bunch about it all, just older motors i get sketchy on the specifics.

I absolutely hate napa, every time ive gone there even before i worked at advance they've been no help, cant manage their own books and computers, cant find the parts, and the customer service has been shitty. But someone else may go in and get great service from an employee that wasnt there when i was, and become a NAPA customer for life.

My suggestion is find the service you like and stick with it, sometimes for hard to find parts you'll have to go somewhere else, but as long as you have someone that is trying to help you, you will enjoy it.

Trying to get back in now, but the recruiters are damn hard to get a hold of.

Although i'll get 3-4 army recruiters talking to me every day smile.gif

I read a lot about politics, hell i read the federalist papers for FUN! so whenever i hear someone say "vote kerry because bush is controlled by big business" or "vote kerry because bush is making the gas prices high from HIS war" I cringe, and it actually makes my head hurt horribly, from the back of my head to right behind my eyes it pounds.If you dont know, dont comment, just say you dont know (i.e. dont vote) Long live the electoral college!

Im trying to figure out how they're an 80's band, when the album that everyone claims was the best was released in 91, and that they've done just as much in the 90's and are still touring and still writing into the new century.

I have not heard a bad metallica album, i was actually mad they didnt play more from st anger at the show. and they didnt play for whom the bell tolls, which is awesome live.

oh man, what a freakin awesome show.

I havent missed em yet in columbus and they havent slowed down a bit.

The best was i was on the floor only 5 feet from the stage directly in front of kirks pedals so like every solo he was playing right in front of me, sooo schweet.
