Some say my car was an instant classic, and being 20 years old I think it would now qualify as a classic, so here we go.
1987 Buick Grand National, have owned it for 3 years now and am slowly starting the restoration/performance aspect of it all. As far as performance I am almost to where I want to be, just some minor parts here and there and it will meet the goals I had set when I bought the car. As far as the restoration side I am getting there, the windshield was just replaced with new outer seals, the window and door seals will be done later this year. The interior is nearly done except for a new A-pillar piece and recovering the drivers seat. Once all that is done the body will be stripped and prepped for paint with every seam, line, and gap set back to exactly where the factory wanted it and maybe a little tighter. New hood emblems and new rear bumper fillers, new bumper moldings....ect. Although the car now is in decent condition, when I am done I am hoping for a near show car that will see track duty occasionally.
