Hey everyone, I'm just putting up this post to hopefully get people to sponsor me for the Tour de Cure. All the money I raise goes to Diabetes research. This hits close to home for me because my girlfriend has Type 1 diabetes. I have pledged to ride the 75k route (longest route available for the Indianapolis stop). I need at LEAST to raise at least $150 to ride. Please if you see the gauge is already passed $150 don't be shy keep donating the more money we raise the closer we are to a cure. No matter how small the donation everything helps. Tour de Cure has made donating very easy by being able to donate online. For more details on the ride and donations please see my 'home page' below. http://main.diabetes.org/goto/Berto Thanks for your time and donations. Berto

sent you a pm but no response, is the dog still available? I'd like to come check her out this weekend.

I would take her but I can't right now I'm not home enough to it to be fair. If we were in July when the GF was moving in I would snatch this dog up. GL

Chicago is expensive as hell. Culinary School is expensive as hell too. Not sure where you are planning to go but I know the Chicago Art institute program is well over 80k. Whenever you drive through indy if you wanna take a pit stop and grab a beer at my crib just give me a holler.

Ethanol isn't cheap. The only reason its only a bit more expensive than fossil fuels is because the government has subsidized it. We need to just give up on burning stuff period. Fuel Cells would cure this whole conversation.

Basically it comes down to Cingular or Verizon. My GF has cingular and from her experience its absolutely terrible. Verizon always treats me good. look up consumer reports. Verizon >*

OK so spare me the u should have bought a diff mp3 player bs. I had a zen micro and I loved just dragging and dropping files into it. fast forward, i got a nano a while ago. I was able to transfer songs to it but now I have some new CD's and I want to update it. I used to just put my songs in 'my music' and they would get added automatically. Now I reformatted my computer and i forgot how to do that. does anyone have good programs to make the transfers to and from my ipod easier? Where did you get it? How much did it cost? i'm tired of downloading crappy programs from download.com someone help!

be careful, cost of living in the loveland/mason area might be more than you expect.

I had a student copy of solid works. If you are able to get that program I can make anything you want on it. I have used solid edge, solid works, and autocad, but I'm considerably better at solid works.

My buddy just got a raptor 660. The blaster I got had a seized connecting rod so I took this opportunity to get a stroker kit anyway we are looking at going down to daniel boone national forrest in KY. I heard a few people say they went for a weekend and rode over 200 miles without seeing the same trail. We could meet up down there if anyone is interested.

ULSD was introduced in 07 hence the reduced gas mileage might not only be due to additives but to the colder-denser intake charge, and high viscocity and parasitic losses due to cold components. Your old diesels will run ULSD just fine. typically if adding lubricants is reserved for engines running fuel that is not #2 diesel (stuff at the pump). If you are concerned with it I know there are some manufacturers that offer fuel filters that release lubricant into the fuel. Everything that I've read said that the energy content of the fuel is reduced by less than 1.5%. No one will really be able to notice the change. Just a word of the wise, while we are on the topic. If you drive a diesel check your fuel filter to make sure its not plugged. I've seen/heard of quite a few diesel owners having filters clog prematurely because when the old fuel was vacated from tanks and filled with the new ULSD diesel it kinda stirred up all the junk at the bottom of the tanks and it gets into your system. Might just be a matter of waiting a few months until everything gets settled down again or used.

I saw it at the autoshow 2 or 3 yrs ago. after doing my project on fuel cells for school I am convinced they are the future. I think in 50 yrs we will have hydrogen fueling stations like gas/diesel now.

1998 Yamaha Blaster. Hell of a deal. Needs piston/rings. $500. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Blaster3.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Blaster2.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Blaster1.jpg I'm pretty pumped up!

If not try contacting ebay authorities, to let you know who the buyer/winner of the auction is so if he won't check the SN then maybe the buyer will.

Be careful with getting a bike thats too nice. If I was going to ride to walmart I would get a walmart bike. 20 miles a day isn't that bad (I just rode that 30 mins ago). Just remember weather will take its toll on the bike, as well as thieves. $100 walmart bikes don't hurt as much as $500+ Raleigh/Cannondales/specialized.

I read a review that was just shy of saying it sucks. Can any of you that saw it say yay or nay?

I guess people don't seem to understand how close we all really are to being homeless. Lose your job in a slow job market, miss 3 mortgages and see what happens. I agree with systems like welfare as a crutch, a system which would allow someone to go to school or get their feet under them, a year maybe 2 tops. But what you don't understand is that you want to cut out programs like this and you automatically think OMG LESS TAXES YES! but you WILL PAY FOR IT LATER. You think people that are desperate and hungry and have to feed their kids are going to sit down and die? no its called survival instinct. You would see an increase in theft/burglary. You would pay for larger prisons (maintaining them still as in welfare) your insurance rates would go up (anyone with car insurance in Detroit can attest). A slew of other things would be a result of an increase of people in the streets. Maybe you can enlighten us with your impressive resume of things you have 'brought to the table'. You are calling people out saying they are desk-sitters bitching but unless you are sitting at a computer desk in Iraq before your next shift starts you are just another whining little man with much more to say than to do. How do you suggest everyone here make a change? If they voted and their candidate didn't win what option do they have but to complain (if they didn't vote then they don't have any room to complain). Why keep comparing bringing up the past with Clinton lying in office? So what he got a little brain on the side he lied to protect his PERSONAL life. Bush's lies sent this nation to war, there is a rather large difference. The truth is that Democracy is a bloody thing that only comes when the people want it and fight for it. You cannot force democracy on people because if they don't believe it in it will never hold.

where do i scrap them? how much could they possibly give me for 6 master cylinders? :-p

If I have a shit ton of brake master cylinders sitting at home can I just take them into advance auto parts and turn them in as core and get cash? Thanks!
