While I would agree with you at first, I reexamined that question again to see why the second one would NOT light up. Reason being the electricity will take the path of least resistance. For all technical reasons, if that switch is closed, then no the light won't come on at all. The bulb is just a resistor, therefore the current will travel through the closed switch without going through the "resistor".

That's it. It was in the past. It was the way of life then, not now. If say you were related to a slave, then that is just the way it is and always will be. I can't think of one way to make it "even", so all the attempts to do so should be stopped, because as you said, to some its a smack in the face. No one owes anyone, its the past, we had no part of it, therefore we (seperate races or society as a whole) should not be reap the consequences, good or bad, of histories actions. No, your bathroom example is not a consideration for reparations. Nor is money necessarily what is meant when paying someone back, though ultimately money is the root of it all. Can the life of a slave be considered a payable debt? No, I don't think so, and again, it was in the past, it can't be changed, that's is the way the world thought and acted at the time. It's not my fault, it's not your fault, but for some reason some people today think we should have to make up for it. If this be the case, shouldn't the Jewish, Gay, and every other creed and culture that Hitler commited genocide with be "repayed" in the same way? There are as far as I know, no organizations to help these cultures races and religions get free college. Or to help them get jobs they are not qualified for only to fill a quota. Is what happened to these people any less qualified to be considered repayable since that is the name of the game? I don't think so, but we aren't paying them back. So what's the difference really?

YES!!!! reparations is what I meant by "paying back". Early Alzheimer's is kicking my 23 year old ass I think, like I posted, any reparations were payed back a LONG time ago. We (as a society or single race) owe it to no one (as a society or single race) to make anymore exclusions, exemptions, repayments, justifications or donations to any one because of what has happened in the past. That term is over. The government needs to step back up and accept that and level the playing field again. See, here's the problem with the first post. While yes it seems "racist" that it's an all African American contest, this by no means is racist. Fact of the matter is that African Americans are "fatter" when compared to other races/cultures. Maybe its a lifestyle thing, maybe its a genetics thing, who knows. No where does it state that ONLY African Americans can be a part of this contest. Whites, Asians, Mexicans, Indians are not forbidden from this. Now, yes I would venture a guess that if someone threw together an "American weight loss contest" (read White contest) Jesse Jackson and the NAACP would be down their necks and the Media's venting about how racist it is that it's "for the whites." Pure political bullshit is all it is. Same reason any time a black person is beat up by anyone other than their own race it's a hate crime. I have good friends that are black. I have good friends that are Mexican, etc etc. I can hate or like the next black, white, mexican, indian guy just the same. But if I were to bash in the skull of a white guy and black guy both for the same thing, it becomes a hate crime to the black guy because he/she is a minority. Give me a fucking break already. A) You are probably right, there will always be a division of ideologies, feelings, and interactions between different races. It's the nature of animals. B) Why boldly state that we can't? There will always be two extreme groups that keep a seperation, but why state that? Are you one who can't get along with "white" people, or any other race for that matter? Do you just put on a front with your white friends so as to avoid any historical confrontations? Are you using your race as a clutch to justify "not getting along"? If you truly have no racist feelings towards other races, and can get along with others, then why can't everyone? "No we can't" is a little post with a huge meaning. How many other races do you really find in BET sitcoms, or other race directed tv shows? There are MULTIPLE shows where white actors are non present. Or shows that have only one race present. Though this may go both ways as I think about it. FRIENDS... did they ever have black actors? They did have guest actors that were of different races from time to time though which excludes them from being "racist". Everything should be a level playing field this day and age. But it's not, the government stepped in years ago with Affirmative Action and other programs to help minorities (mainly African Americans) to better integrate them into society. The problem is, these programs are being used and abused now way beyond what their prior intentions were. Did we indenture Africans to be slaves? Yes, there is no denying that. They were inslaved to citizens of the United States from 1776 to 1865. (I use 1776 as its the start of the USA, not as the start of slavery itself). That's 89 years. We have been "giving back" to the one inslaved, and their families, and their families and their families for 142 years. That's way beyond our nations need to "repay" for anything. Yes blacks were still segregated until the 1960's, but guess what, so were women, they had just as little rights. You don't here as much hooplah from them. They fought for their rights, they achieved them, then went on their merry way's. Why are we as a nation still treating any other races differently?

If you knew these 2.3T's like the back of your hand you'd know that rebuilding these engines is SIMPLE!!! and Cheap! Spun bearing...pfffft, that's an easy fix. Tearing it completely down to have it hot tanked takes (me) 45 minutes. But I know the 2.3T's like the back of my hand. For all you's reference. The 2.3 has been the same block since the Pinto had it. Some minor changes have taken places though for various reasons. The nice fact about this is that you can take a 2.3 out of a Ranger and create a 2.3T with it VERY SIMPLY. Literally all you have to do is find some 2.3T forged pistons and swap them into the block. You now have a 2.3T short block. From here you can either use the Ranger head/intake/accessories, or find a Turbo head/intake and use them. There are some other things you have to do but that generally gets you what you need. Megaman, remember you can always PM me with specific questions, sorry I can't help you find a 2.3T as I'm in Utah, but remember if it comes down to it you can use a ranger block.

We had the same problem. The cutoff out here for the "first time home owners" mortgage was $69K a year combined. We obliterated that number. I was dumbfounded that I was pissed that I/We made too much. Any how. SuperHawk, at the current rates, it's about $6 a month more for every thousand you finace. Your last part sounds like Utards out here. There really aren't any times on the roads out here where there is bumper to bumper highway traffic, so I never see bikers lane split. But the asshole's in their big SUV's do exactly what you've described.

I wasn't questioning legality really. More just questioning the statements about motorist's who are "impatient" and not letting lane splitters. When, looking at it the otherway, the lane splitters are just as "impatient".

What exactly are you asking? There is air to air intercoolers, whereas you would ideally want them "front mounted" to have the coolest possible air flowing over the core. Then the air to water intercooler. It's basically a regular intercooler incased in a tank that has cold water running across the core of the intercooler. The water usually comes from an external tank mounted somewhere in the car that pumps ice water through the cooler. Then you can have water/meth injection, where you are chemically cooling the intake air with liquid, and can be used alone, or in conjunction with either of the two style of intercoolers above.
