You focused on two things with your post. What Obama said about GUNS and RELIGION. So, of the two you chose to make a point about, I focused on the one of the TWO that matters to me. Me reading the Constitution has nothing to do with what you are willing to give up.

Being in Utah, we are a very very pro-gun state, Gold Star for open carry in fact. Yet we lack a Castle Doctrine.

Any of you Open Carry? I had initially planned to keep it concealed. But have recently been open carrying and I must say that it is a million times more comfortable. Thats one of the only *good* things about Utah though, it's a Gold Star Open Carry state. Ohio isn't quite there, but Ohio's laws are coming around.

My total in depth analysis would be that some people have bad credit and it's really not their fault. So, they (the home loan company) won't solely base their terms off your bad credit score.

Carrying around the house is good practice to get used to it I think I'm being pushed into buying this for my IWB.... though I may still go with a Galco for OWB if/when I feel like open carrying. Thanks for the input.

Sucks for you guys. Utah has preimptive (is that right?) laws which do NOT allow public establishments other than Government buildings and Churches to with hold your right to CCW in that establishment. Now, some places can be put on "the list", but it's a lot of hoops they have to jump through to be such a place. So, if I were to walk into say Sears, and they have a "no guns allowed" sign. Legally they can not enforce it, and I legally do not have to abide by that sign. They can ask me to leave, which I do not have to honor either. Usually at that point though it's just best to leave and avoid confrontation. Then write a letter to Management concerning their breech of my rights to CCW. Ohio is kinda lucky they "recently" allowed CCW. But, based on their record with pro carry laws, you guys are finally heading in the right direction as some of the more pro-gun states and your rights. ***edit: I should add this apply's to CCW or Open Carry as well***

Only problem I see with that article, is that he focus's "Global warming" as just the warming of the world climate. No,... it's more than that, as much as I hate Gore, I can't side with this guy as well, global warming is not just the increase in global temperature, though that usually is the main result. His article is under researched and bias based only on half information. "Global warming" comes and goes in cycles that last 10's of thousands of years. Researching the world history you'll find atleast 4 different times the polar ice extended as far down as the Carolinas, only to recede and do it again. It's not "global warming", it's normal global climate change. Anyone who believes different believed in Y2K too.
