funny that a lot of trucks suv's are RWD its pretty hard to get stuck in the snow with 4x4, i've played in the snow plenty of times and the only time was when the snow was the same height as my hood.

The main issue is people driving at different speeds, acceleration, deceleration and changing directions. AWD x 4x4 helps keep you stable. Don't tell me that 4 wheels driving don't do better then 2 in the snow/ice. When your rears hit a different friction ratio then the front when your RWD you generally lose control. AWD is awesome when you want to get up and go, you don't sit there spinning. Plus my BMW does have a great stability control system that does well in the snow and ice. I think i know how to drive in this stuff as I havent wrecked and have avoided accidents from other idiot drivers like the ones doing 20mph down the freeway.

Thats why I have AWD and a set of snow tires for it. Was driving down the highway today like a BOSS. 80mph was no problem. Passing the slow people, wish they'd just stay off the road. this is ohio you need AWD or 4x4, otherwise stay in the house.

do not listen to this guy, doesn't know what he is talking about. laminate flooring once scratched is junk, when wood is scratched it is solid so it would just be aged, plus it can be refinished. I have laid wood floors and it isn't that hard. I have also stained and finished. I got some manual (non-pneumatic) nailer and it wasn't bad. took 5 hours to lay 250 sf by myself. One coat of stain drys over night then 2 coats of lacquer. one day to dry each coat. then again you can buy the prefinished stuff

so when I was down town last week with friends, there was this one young guy, probably about 22 we started hitting on one of my female friends so he tried getting in our group and followed us around a few bars. well talking to him he said he was just visiting Columbus for work and he was from Texas. I asked him what he did for work and he said he was here to implement the affordable healthcare act. I told him he was doing a sucky job. He laughed and agreed.

still a lot of misinformation in this thread lol ok I bought my 2008 335xi sport ed. with a manual trans with 36k miles on it. I now have 110k miles on it repairs that were done or issues. the fuel injectors and pumps were replaced by recall, had no issues. tail light had a malfunction were it tripped the bulb out light. replaced under warranty. vacuum line cracked then later blow off, had a hard time finding this, so turbos did not make boost, I thought my turbos went bad, but it was just the vacuum line. fixed it and had boost! water pump went out at 95k miles, replaced that and thermostat. car started to mis-fire under hard throttle with 100k miles. replaced spark plugs, issue was solved. My wastegate rattles, its just some noise and I haven't bothered to fix it. I have a jb4 installed so the car is putting about 14psi compared to the stock 9-10psi I take it hard into the curves a lot and have no suspension issues. I drive a lot of highway and I get 26-28mpg, when i drive mostly city its around 20mpg overall average is 25mpg. I change the oil around 8-10k miles versus the recommended 15k. the awd does well in the snow, along with its traction control system.
