The AWD cars are prone to transmission and t-case failures. Fuel pump sending units are an issue from time to time, the defrost connections on the rear glass go bad in 50% of them, the air bag sensors for load leveling are prove to fail as well. The engine is solid. They get bad fuel economy. I owned a 2wd model, fun truck, useful to tow, but not overly practical for my usage.

I think the old rods and pistons were reused from the original set up as well from my memory, and it did have the house sprayed down on the original parts. Sorry to see that Mike, looks like there is not much to salvage from that engine.

Im not a huge fan of them, I was only pointing out what you knew, that it infact was a air compressor regulator which I find comical that they can try to sell for that amount of money. The grimmspeed manual boost controller is nicer though, a true indexed boost controller is very nice for those whom desire easy change adjustments.
