  1. if wisconsin wouldnt have thrown a pick in the end zone, and then have a trick play on fourth an one, they could have beat the southern ego conference as well. So much for being thick ankled an slow...
  2. If he just got that car, an it was a local sale, I believe it was a customers car of ours I tuned that car right before it was sold...It looks idenitcal from what I can tell an thats less common color. Rip, horrible to hear about.
  3. Negative, you get another evo yet
  4. *it is* his car, and Im sure he will
  5. The tire setup he has for the street is a little wide and tends to rub the outer fender here an there which he know, but he loves the wheels so we left it it alone so to speak. When we strapped it down it pulled down on the suspension some more, and when it sparyed the squating action rubbed some tire off creating some definate tire smoke; he has a different wheel setup for the track obviously. Thanks for the praise. -Brandon
  6. Quick little background ; The car has a LS2 block, AFR heads, custom cam, with a NX direct port setup, custom fuel system, ect all built an tuned via hp tuners here at the shop. The Car made 804 wheel horsepower , on a progressive controller and a pump gas mixture. The car makes around 500 wheel on motor . The motor still has a little room for some more power but at this point we are very satisfied as is our customer. He is taking the car back down south so we hope to see some very good track times shortly! Here is a a quick little video of the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9Xx-whYPZE -Happy holidays from everyone at the shop IPS MOTORSPORTS
  7. What the media wants, the media gets. They control the American public.
  8. Sounds good Jamie, 116 vp and 300 pills are in the future? What rods did you go with, carrillo? I saw some neat LS7 stuff motor wise at PRI, sounds like you have it all already!
  9. Looks good Jamie, what grade fuel are you running in this tune?
  10. Good, they are healthier just as we will be. No excuses on either party.
  11. Your right.... He is considered by coaches an media to be top 5 DB's in the country, so I sapose we have atleast 2 of the top 5 DB's in the country? Go cheer on Michigan in their flush bowl matchup:o USC loss to the spread twice this year, I see them having a lot to deal with against the fighting illini. Mendenhall is the best running back in the country, kid has a lot of talent and speed. I dont see it being a blow out, juice just has to play smart. OSU will have a difficult time, the defensive line just has to show up, they need to get pressure. An I think we are all unfortunatly going to see the demise of Todd Boeckman, he can not hanlde any sort of pressure unfortunatly, so I hope we just run the ball well!
  12. Eli, I understand this, and unfortunatly Jamie has made us aware of this before the customer, once we hear the issue from our customer who spent their hard earned money we will resolve that then; its hard to solve a problem you did not realize was a problem. We are very good people to work with, and I am certain that the owner of this motor will take any issue he has up with us. Jamie has a point, we do look over motors, you would be ignorant not to as a performance shop. But this was a tricky situation on this motor, as we never had a chance to literally unwrap it. The day we picked the motor up from the machine shop, was the day the customers father came in to take it home till his son gets back over the holidays. The customer sent us used parts off a forum not knowing their condition, neither did we; the parts arrived, and we sent them to the machine shop, and the waiting game began. He then decieded to go a differnt direction with the cars build up due to choosing a differnt engine managment system unrealted to the motor (he is serving in Iraq right now and I hope like all other service men he is well as I have not heard from him in a month now). He spoke very highly of us through the whole process of the motor build, and we told him exaclty everything he every asked, he was happy with who was going to be doing the machine work, as were we. Unfortunatly it seems from Jamie's post we may have some issues to work out. IPS does, and has always taken responsibility for our customers issues an complaints, this time will be no different. There is always a twist to a story when you want it to be percieved a certain way, this is why we have lawers an a judical system, an it seems Jamie is the unassigned prosecutor. I see no need like Brian said, to drag any names through the mud, but some feel the need, thats politics; you have to play the game Hillary says. Interesting though once the truth comes out IE Greg powers then people stop crying wolf. This is all the more IPS will delve into the topic. -Brandon
