Mr. Howie, It is I that should apologize to you. Often times, we take for granted that there is another person on the other side of the monitor and tend to de-personalize them as is common on internet forums. I have been guilty of this in the past, and I was guilty of the same in this situation. If in any way I deterred you or created a level of doubt as to what the quality of this Community is like, I sincerely apologize. Columbus Racing is an amazing group of people, owned/managed by an equally great team. I am not one that personally races a vehicle currently, but am and have been an avid car/motorcycle enthusiast since I was young, so my interest in the sport is ever-evolving and broadening. I hope to be able to expand upon that knowledge by your future postings and respect your accomplishments in the short time that I've been able to read of & research them. Again, I would like to apologize to you individually as well as to my fellow CR members for being out of line regarding Mr. Howie's intro thread. Here's the thing, nothing I said in Mr. Howie's intro thread was overly harsh or flaming. All I posted was the link the to the intro thread sticky. That's it. Yes, I don't know who Lee Howie is, so be it. So I posted the sticky in response to his intro as I would have to anyone else that needed some direction to help them elaborate on their introduction. What I posted was far from anything that would have "ran someone off the site" or been any sort of attack. I apologized yesterday, but some are really blowing this whole issue way out of proportion. If needed, I'll turn in my CR membership card so as to avoid this in the future (since I'm the only one that has ever done this before). Exactly.

More often than not, people who either annoy the majority or just simply don't follow the rules typically have a short lifespan here. So to those that do actually adhere, we just simply delete their posts informing those other individuals as to the procedures are because of their "status" or "rep". How many members who have joined this site don't make it beyond the kitchen because they can't follow the rules? Obviously Mr. Howie is joining our site at this time to talk up his Evo, why is his failed thread an open invitation to the site because of his status vs some kid with a '95 civic that doesn't post a picture of his car? My $.02
