  1. wouldn't a vacuum leak be consistent though?
  2. IAC or TPS will do this I think
  3. you are tightening it back down once you think it sounds right, right? I know a lot of people like to leave them some what loose so they can adjust it and then wonder why it keeps going out of whack not realizing it's just turning a bit on them while they're revving it.
  4. too advanced = pinging, dieseling retarded= slow starting, sluggish running and heat
  5. wow that was weird. After he decided to just throw shit at it ie. fuel pump, plugs & wires, fuel regulator, etc. Turned out to be the ignition module on the column

  12. Any one have any ideas? Found online about the #13 fuse having something to do about it but it's fine. Car is running weird and need to figure it out. Some times it starts, some times it doesn't and turns over hard. Also, a few nights ago the passenger side manifold was glowing. Coils tested fine, and just put new plugs and wires in it. Yesterday he got it fired up and it ran real choppy, almost as if it was running on all cylinders. Fired it back up 20 minutes later and it ran fine?

  18. Check engine on but when we try to run the self diagnostics by jumping the pins on the connector under the dash it doesn't display any codes. also, it kicks a relay under the hood and you can hear a clicking on the pass. side of the engine. Advance couldn't run a test either
  19. worst vehicle ever to take a motor out of. Bitch still ain't out
  20. Apparently pulling the engine and trans out together is going to be a no go without the radiator support being removed first and raising the body off the frame which I'm not going to be able to do. So now I'm hoping to pull the transmission out first and then pulling the motor. even then people say it's a bitch because of the oil pan hitting.PITA
  21. or do what I do and use a slope to help out
