  1. lol, who does that sort of shit? Maybe the radiator has a lot of corrosion and circulates poorly under a load? Could be a bad thermostat. Negative Make sure you look it over real good. And be cautious to buying things that have overheating issues right now, there are a lot of people trying to get rid of shit that got fucked up during the freezing temps over the winter.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I remember seeing evercoat when I was looking up the metal 2 metal. Will check it out now. Oh yea, what's a thin pick lol looks like I'll grab it:)
  3. CR needs a good body repair/paint tutorial or two
  4. meh, I wouldn't say it's great. I enjoy it in the privacy of my own home. I'm not one to go out and flaunt my pot smoking about in public, letting every one else know that I smoke. Those are the people that annoy me, with that whole 420 gayness. http://smiliesftw.com/x/shit%20storm.gif
  5. Was looking at Metal 2 Metal but that shit is expensive. I don't really have much experience in body work but I'll manage just fine. What do you guys use, and/or suggest for a beginner? Also, why you're here, will this make a good hammer & dolly set? http://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Professional-7-Piece-Hammer-Dolly/dp/B000IAWLBS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1236817457&sr=8-1 edit-What's the difference between regular fillers and those labeled as lightweight? Which should be used?
  6. " Dry cell batteries have a habit of "leaking" or "sweating" which is really corrosion within the battery. As most dry cell batteries contain chlorides, a leaking battery can do a great deal of damage to surrounding metal." got from: http://cool-palimpsest.stanford.edu/byform/mailing-lists/cdl/2001/0068.html
  7. lol@you You had to have known about the front plate. Gonna go out on a limb and say you knew you were without insurance as well, but I could be wrong.
  8. I've had pretty good luck finding stuff up there. Even got some freebies a few times. It's usually cheaper than the yards out here in my area.
  9. Utorrent is still the best as far as I know
  10. yes, it's 3 month out here. I had it last year. Ended up getting chosen in the 3rd month(had to go down like once a week and sit for a couple hours) for a vehicular manslaughter case. Got out of it do to my shitty hearing. It;s not as bad as I led them to believe but I wouldn't make a good juror because of it.
  11. good point. I'd just like to find a decent set of used rims for it
  12. 14" or 15", doesn't really matter
  13. keyword cheap. Who has got some cheap rims taking up space that need to go? I was interested in a set here on the forum but haven't heard back from him yet. Would like to find some for <$100 if possible
  14. what a terrible name lol
  15. Thanks for all the help every one. I'm going to mess with it some today, starting with the driveshaft since that needs put back in anyways. Another question AJ, if you don't mind? It doesn't roll every time it's in park and on a hill. It seems like it only does it when you're not wanting it to lol. If it is because the driveshaft is out, wouldn't it do it every time? I was wondering this with the parking pawl as well. It's not very consistent
  16. bump for pics of the smoothies
  17. sent him a pm asking if he would take a look at this thread
  18. is it an expensive fix do you know? There's a transmission shop here in town I suppose I should call them.
  19. How would I go about checking this out without putting the front driveshaft back in? Thanks for the diagram Gearhead, not sure I feel comfortable tearing this apart though.
