ive been a member on there for a while and youd be surprised how little those guys know about engines period. I can think of about 2 or 3 people who might know, but i havent asked. They all talk about upgrading to larger Mitsu turbos like 14T, 16T, 18/19T... only one guy has made a kit and it uses a small trim t3/t4. So really when it comes down to it, im in uncharted waters... again. I was doing somemore thinking and i think the Super 60 MIGHT do the trick. With ONLY an ECU upgrade, i can make a 40bhp/52lb-ft jump... that leaves about 70-80hp left to gain from exhaust work, a turbo swap and nearly double the boost pressure. I dunno... ill have plenty of time to figure it out.

this isnt the first turbo engine ive built so ive already been comparing not maps, but actull engine setups ive seen run. I dont need much more than 300bhp but i dont want to be running so much pressure that im crushing pistons. Boost pressure isnt what you look at anyway... your power comes from the CFM. Thats why bigger turbos make just as much power if not more at lower pressures. I dont plan on running much more than 29inHG so im thinking a super 60 isnt going to get the 300bhp. Im still going over specs and stuff because i still really dont know too much about this fuckin Volvo engine. Im almost scared to touch it but i guess its just like every other one... just more elaborate...

So im looking to upgrade the Volvo already... i know i shouldnt, but im dumb. Im not looking to do this right now... just whenever the US Federal Government decides that i deserve to have my tax refund back and i can get a manifold together. As of now, it has the factory Mitsubishi TD04H-12T... a little pea shooter of a turbo. The thing spools all the time and it gets almost annoying. So, ive come down to 3 choices.... Should i get: A - T3 Super 60 B - T3/T4 60-1 C - T61 D - None of the abouve + go to hell and die I threw D in there because i know i have some haters out there so i just wanted to be fair to everyone

The Eco is junk man. You are just like every other douche that sees the name Ecotec... you immediatly tie it to the Drag Cavalier. Ill let you in a secret... ITS GOT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS DUMPED INTO IT! you cant compare the baseline Eco, to the drag engine. Its not the same engine. It has less than 30% of the same parts as the original and has tens-of-thousands of dollars worth of tuning time alone. Out of the box its JUNK. Its tough, itll take abuse, but thats it. It was made to be a universal baseline powerplant that GM could dump into all thier POS cars... which they did. Ill give the Eco the Pepsi challenge against an LD9 or older Quad any day of the week, and itll lose everytime.

It doesnt go anywhere at the moment... just sits there and gets flat tires I was just asking if it had any good suspension mods is all.

The Eco is a pile. Get over it. If it sounds like shit, and it runs like shit, than it must be SHIT!

7MGE is a nice motor to work with... very strong. Could be worth it.
