  1. On first impressions, i was sort of pissed. Not because of the product itself, but the fact that i had to rearrange furniture just to have something for it to mount to. Now to the product itself. From what im told, it was designed from the ground up, SOLEY for GT4... at first i was a bit sceptical, but after using it... i have no doubt in my mind. If you were impressed by the game before, prepare to be absoluty blown away. The unit is not only dual shock, but its also FORCE FEEDBACK. This means, when you touch a tire to grass, a skirt, a bump on the track, another car, ANYTHING... you feel it, and the wheel reacts as well. If you bump a car, the wheel jerks a tad. If you run off the raod, the steering goes loose. If you get into oversteer, the wheel goes loose. DRIFTING IS A BLAST WITH THIS! The vehical control is unbelievible. The faster you go, the tighter the wheel gets. It even straitens itself back out when coming out of corners. Shifting can be done multiple ways with this. There are padels under the wheel or a sequential style shifter placed very close to the wheel for real life-like shifting. The pedal unit is attached to the wheel unit by a cable. The gas pedal has unified tension across the range of motion, but the brake pedal has PROGRESSIVE stiffness. The harder you push, the tougher it gets for the true to life power brakes feal. This is by far one of the best things to ever happen to the gaming industry IMO... HANDS DOWN. If you dream of driving race tracks across the world... this is as close as your going to get without actully being there. The price tag is $149.99... and its worth every single penny. I STRONGLY SUGGEST BUYING THIS PRODUCT FOR PLAYING GT4!
  2. nicely done, very clean, not excessive, lots of power smile.gif
  3. But you catn, every 10 min you have to go back and make the car take a pit for fresh tires and refuel. If it had automatic pitstops, that would be different, but when you have to tell it to pit every 10min, about the only thing you can walk away and do is take a shower.
  4. Why in the hell are there not one but TWO races on this game that take 24 FULL hours to complete? Even on B-Spec mode, thats 8hrs... do they really expect someone to take a full day and play one race? Even in B-Spec mode, the 1000KM and 4H races are almost annoying... i dont understand WTF they were thinking with several races that last more than 4 hours playing time.
  5. uh redlight? Nice run, but in my book, if you cant run it green, it doesnt count smile.gif
  6. Its a sledgehammer w/ pegs.... LUCKY!
  7. anyone want to race 150 to 160 ? Thats about all itll hook up for.
  8. Flying J fuel is terrible.... i put bigger injectors in the cavalier just before i blew it up and had Flying J in it for a couple weeks... i took the injectors out and you wouldnt believe the crap that was in them. In a matter of weeks they were about 30% clogged. Ill never touch that shit again.
  9. Id like to fit a R6 or R1 engine into the ass end of a golf cart.... thats my project that ill complete sometime in my life. It would be sweet to have a 11 or 12second golfcart smile.gif

    BMW vs BMW

Euro cars are built based on how a person feels about driving the car, not so much the performace numbers it puts up. The car could be slow as dirt and handel like shit, but if it looks good enough and is comfortable enough, people will buy it and talk about it... simple as that. Just because car companies share plateforms or work together on projects doesnt mean the exact same parts go into every car they each make. Ill take my volvo for instance... why is it that my S40 has more than 10 airbags, more computing power than the server this board is on, and considered one of the safest vehicals to be in during a crash, while no Mitsubishi vehical has applied said technology, nor gotten the same praise? Because they are 99% different in everyway. You know what mitsubishi did for my car... slapped on a tiny ass turbo with a gehy ass flange that is nothing like anything else on the planet... thats what they did. The Ford platform being shared is also for versions of the Focus that we are unable to get. Ford US is not the same as Ford Europe. Just like GM is not the same as Opel or Vauxhall. Same company on paper, but not the same company. Its all about business and marketing. You cant always look at a name, you have to pick apart the car to find out wether or not its worth a lick.
  19. You just looked at it. I would just walk in and lay the pictures down.

I wouldnt call it bragging but i was pointing out a general fact... European cars are built to have an awesome overall driving feel. Driving the S40 is so much more fun than any of the other cars that not only ive owned, but others ive been able to drive for periods of time. Its just a much more comfortable, and sporty expierence. Also, just so you know i wasnt braggin... dont forget to read...

  22. Looks like Geremy Wheeler gone wild smile.gif
  23. Copper head gaskets are one of those things that work awesome when they are installed to the T, and the worst things on the planet if they arent. As long as its installed properly, and to spec... you should have absolutly no problems with it. A lot of the failures that happen with CHG's is that people dont check the quench distance. Whats happening is at high rpm, the pistons are kissing the head and the engines are blowing themselves to bits. Just be sure that the gasket is the same thickness or thicker than the factory gasket when torqued down.

Thier suspension 10 years ago is just as good as your Mustangs, if not better. BMW never based thier cars on raw muscle. They built them to ride smooth, have second to none handeling, and to be luxurious... not to run 400m in a strait line then stop to brag about it. Id enjoy watching your GT run around the track with a 10yr old M... nothing against your car or choice of them, but my money would be on the M. *EDIT* Just have to add... after driving European cars, Japanese cars, and American cars... the europeans are at least 2 or 3 years ahead of the rest in technology, and quality. My S40 isnt the baddest thing to ever come from Europe... actully its not even all that great compared to its big brothers/sisters... but i still wouldnt trade it for nearly any american or Japanese car because the driving expierence just isnt the same. I guess its one of those things you dont know untill you own one.
