The plug you use needs to be a plug made for 220. If you wired a plug that looks like the outlets in your house then you need to remove that plug and wire a new one. They sell 220 rated plugs at Home Depot or Lowe's, and it's something you can do yourself (If you already know this, then this info is for people reading this who do not). A licensed electrician needs to wire the 220 in your garage. They will be aware of all the local codes, and the codes are in place for a reason. You may be able to find an out of work electrician someplace (craigslist?) who can do it on a budget. Good luck.

^^Correct. Your AC uses 240, and needs both sides of your breaker box to be functional. If you look in your breaker box you will notice that the AC is two breakers. Anything else that has the same type of breaker would not have worked either, but I'm guessing you didn't try and use the oven right away.

I try and condemn everyone for the bad things they do, and not overlook the good. Are you suggesting that Michael's name be cleared since he was such a good enertainer? This should be a returnless system. As you have said, you checked fuel pressure. It is going down. The fuel pump increases volume based on demand. What is the voltage at the pump when pressure is going down? Is the voltage going down as well? If so ( and I suspect it will be the case), then either the system is telling the pump to send less fuel, or the power supply that drives the voltage for the pump has a problem (more likely). I am unfamiliar with the intricacies of how it works, but it could be a computer or relay issue. Good luck.

I agree with the above statements. In fact, I'll take it a step further. Anytime the services of any government agent is needed, the person using that service will pay for it. If you need a teacher, you pay your portion of that teachers' salary. If you need a police officer, you pay them first, then they can help you. I can't remember the last time I needed the help of a police officer, why should I pay their salaries? They don't do anything for me. Same with the fire department, when someones house burns own, that person is the one who requires the help of the fire department. Let them pay for it with the burned out remains of their worldly possessions. I could go on like this all day. Having a standard set for our education is a good thing. Also, if it helps, look at it as if you are paying for your OWN education. You went to school, now you pay taxes. The taxes you pay are for the education you received. Take a look at the education you received in your public school and ask yourself if we are putting ENOUGH money into the system. Enough thread derailing, let's get back on track.
