    Do you recall your timeframe to be walking without any assistance? I was on crutches for 3 weeks, and working on transitioning to a cane for 3-4 days now...I just can't do it for long distances. Also, how long has it been, and are you back to where you were before the injury, or are you limited in some things/still feel it in there?

     

    Not a common injury, like a broken arm or something, so I haven't found too many people to ask.

     

    I had a compound fracture on my right femur back in 2009, it took a good month to be able to move around well. I remember it being a chore to do 50 yards or so, then it seemed to come back all at once. Just stay at it and keep doing your short walks.

    Unfortunately, you are correct. Until they respect each other, nothing will change. How does a black person expect the rest the world to take them seriously, when they virtually murder each other routinely. More black people are killed by black people than white people, every single year. The statistics are out there. I have lots of black friends, all who are successful and can't understand this themselves. Unfortunately our government has done nothing for these people. I thought when we elected a black president, that now there would be the time for black people to understand that opportunity exists out in the world other than with crime. Our president has done nothing but push people further down into the system by providing free money and looking for free money in and out as the "opportunity". Our president has failed the black people, and he doesn't seem to even care.

    I will supply the firecracker. These are sold 5 miles from my house for $5 a piece. It's described as a spark fountain. It is NOT a spark fountain.

    Quick question for anyone who knows the photography profession or has sold and/or sells material?

     

    I recently shot some photos of a construction project in Dublin. The City of Dublin contacted me today about using the photos on their webpage and social media sites. Since the company I work for was the landscape contractor on the project I'm not going to charge them for use of my material. At least not this go around. The person I spoke with from the city asked about licensing and/or release of material... I just shot some pics, they want to use them, what do I need to do or ask of them so my material is properly used?

     

    1. I am going to watermark the photos

    2. Dublin will credit my work where they use it.

    3. They're aerial photo's shot from a Drone. Is anyone familiar with regulations or laws regarding drone footage. The city worker didn't know the limitations, or if there is any privacy restrictions/laws.

     

    I don't know what I don't know.... Any help would be much appreciated!

    Looking to get some custom printed plastic cups done for a party next week. Since I'm on such a short notice I figured CR might know and local place that does this kind of stuff? Maybe some of you had it done for a wedding or draft party... or whatever!

     

    Just need about 50-75 generic plastic cups with some print on them.

    I'd use it but I can't see many putting $1k up front for oil changes short of a shop. Maybe you should try to find out what jobber pricing is for it and sell it to a shop that would use it.

     

    It's coming from Boyd's Goodyear, assuming they don't have a use for it! He told me their cost price is $1500!

    I have the opportunity to take a 55 gal drum of royal purple synthetic oil in on trade for graveling a guy's driveway! I don't have any use for 55 gallons of the stuff! I just wanted to see in there would be any interest on CR for it! I'd like to get $1,000 for it but am open to offers!

    Pavers will cost a little more.... BUT if anything happens you can always peel pavers up and relay them!

     

    With concrete, you're stuck!

     

    Also highly depends on what paver you are looking for, pm me what style bricks you are looking at and I can give you a ballpark figure!

     

    If its not too much in quanity, I have leftover pavers for days! I'll sell them to you for cheap!
