Wasn't there a kid like this a couple months ago.... He had a buddie too. He also drove a v6 stang, and was awfully proud of racing it. And some advice: get rid of the 3.8 babges, chicks dig the rumble.... and w/o the badges you might have a chance, when the cars off.

Sorry Austin your first and second post sounded like you were. I then skipped to the bottom. I raise cattle (5) and I'm not exempt, not yet. Taxes just piss me off, in the way, they are every where. I'm fine with paying them, I just think they're missed used. Most of my salary comes from taxes since I'm in construction. But it would suck if i got taxed on grain to feed my cattle and you didn't to buy a steak. As long as they don't start taxing tea. My family owns about 20 acres and we get a break on property tax if you show an agricultural profit. Now does anyone know about horses? or recreational animal.

Our economy is in the shitter, at the very least its because of farmers. Austin you own GM's, Do you know they lost $15.8 billion last quater alone. How did Honda do? or Toyota, even Hyundia? Maybe they are paying a little much for salaries and pensions, due to the unions. And they have been doing so for along time.

Shouldn"t we rather piss and moan on Well-fare or Food stamps, open your eyes... Farmers do bust their ass and some might abuse the tax-exempt privlages, but so what, big deal. And who made Austin the IRS, if your proud of where your tax money goes and it makes you a good citizen not to lie on your title when you buy a used car, then do it. I bet you'd change your mind if you were self employed. If I raise 100 cattle next year and do great doing so, and make a nice big profit of $20,000, why should i get taxed on that money unless I buy a new Truck... Can't i save it. Write it off. After its said and done some 40% of our dollar goes to tax. Farmer don't abuse it more than the people in our society that collect food stamps or well fare. What might be a good idea is going to work for a farmer, just think if you do it right, you could make about 1/3 more than you would on paper.

I know I'm a little late on the thread, but do any of you diesel guys know a good place to get a truck dyno'd. I bought a 24v awhile ago and am looking to get some numbers. I was in Pick-Ups Plus (on Lewis Center) about a month ago and saw they got one. I called and they want $85 for 3 pulls. It's close to Delaware so I think thats my best bet. And just wondering by a show of hands... how many cr members are diesel guys FYI - I was in Columbus Diesel last Thursday and Friday and Mark the GM, said tomorrow night (Tuesday 5) theres a big pull at the Hartford Fair. Its the Mid-Season Championship so it should be pretty good. There is a $21,500 payout. Anyone want to roll together, I think a convoy of diesels blowin smoke and passing imports would be pretty cool. Plus don't know any other diesel guys in the city. So far i have my buddy and I. He just dropped a 12v Cummins in a '79 chevy. Anyone else in?

I am selling my '98 F-150. Its a white 2wd long bed regular cab. Power everything. I have 223,000 miles on it but replaces the motor @ 115,000 with a brand new crate motor from grahm ford.
