Then later this week went for some 1\8th mile racing and managed a 8.5.. Not to bad considering I have the worst gearing out of any 02j in the world.. I forget what it is but it came in the 180HP models after 2002... I want my old 02J EGX gears :thumbup: After running good at the track I decided it was time to get her dynoed. This winter if you dont remember I installed an AEB head and AGU intake mani, along with all these other goodies... Along with a new File from adam at Unitronics :thumbup: Well about 30 mins on the return trip home we stopped to get gas and my clutch pedal was stuck to the floor... It would not release. It felt like the clutch had broken apart and was dragging and not letting me shift into gear :banghead: We stopped and the top of the shift linkage was loose so we tighntened it down still no good :banghead: At one point IO could press the clutch to the floor "No Pressure" and It seemed as it was vibrating off some metal and making the most horrible metal on metal grinding noise... I managed to limp it back to the garage and lay her to rest. I was mad I just shut the door and have not been back since "5 days ago". Me and Garry from Wreckless are gonna tear the tranny off this weekend and see what damage was done.. If its just the clutch then I'm lucky. But If not ive been looking at dog boxes :screwy: This will be my 4th 02j :laugh: BTW the clutch that is in the car was a Spec stage 3+ it held together for 3 transmissions and more races and racing than I can count :thumbup: If it has failed after this much abuse it was well worth the money. Only thing I'm bummbed about it missing out on the upcoming car shows and the Buschur racing event that I was all hyped up on.

I also wanted to cool my engine bay a bit and get a Oil catch can, John Moore from Moore Speed and Perfomance helped me with the catch can and he custom built one for me :thumbup: . You are correct, I cant have a two step on my stock ECU, And as for people saying what my car needs to run need to find me out in the parking lot and "I'll show you how slow it really is;) My car is a roll car, FWD and it has its downfalls but for something pushing a 35r with only 1.8l it makes more power than 95% of FWD 4cyl on this board. And I do want my car to trap 125 at 12.99. New gearing goes in after Buschur event on the 25th of may so to you ramsey I might just hit 130 in the 1320.

Only 2 step for my stock ECU car is my right foot. Other than that there is standalone systems but the 034EFI is around 2100 bux for such a add on. Maybe one day but you gotta remeber its a roll car....

My car made some good passes this year and rapes most stock bottom end V8's on and off spray on the HWY and at the track. I'll let you drive my car, maybe the torque curve will spawn a slight smile. I think I fixed some exhaust problems and boost leaks so I should be able to edge your bike out. This time we will do it on a very long straight road and not a bridge, lol.

well my scene is, racing Linn, Hua, Sam and everyone else I roll with gets old and so does chasing down big v8's. Last year they whored my car out and I cant get a race to save my life BTW thanks Linn:asshole: Only thing that has called me out this year has been a bike and a 500whp cobra. Other than that I just ask to race and people and there reply is "no". Why? cause all they wanna do is either check out their rides in a parking lot and watch there neons bounce to the sound of their latest Johanas brother cd or follow and watch when people roll out. That shit get old real quick. Id rather travel someplace else and have drama and get real racing done.

I had no Idea who anyone was from middle town befor going there with my buddy AJ. first convo went like this. Me: Hey I dont know you guys but I'm down here for a car show anybody wanna race? Them: What you got and from what speed? Me: Golf, 60 Them:"Sure" the driver yells to his buddies " I need the torch so I can heat my bottle" Me:Awsome. Then it went a lil somethin like this. After the race we stopped talked and decided we both failed cause I started to honk then he honked then we both took off I chased him down then his clutch was stuck to the floor. I showed up to that place gettin mean mugged from ever corner of the lot but ended up leaving with some new friends. Big up to trix-storm and his buddy in the white camaro;) Cant wait to do it again soon.
