  1. My dad has owned a boat/boats since before I was born, He currently sports a 28' Bayliner hardtop. I'm glad I was raised in a boating family, now I know it's better to know someone that has a boat than to own one yourself
  2. Most of us know they don't work well in cars, now we know they are not pratical in bikes. If they were not so heavy they could be a decent paper weight tongue.gif
  3. This is what you need to use as a pre silencer, place it as far back as possible and retain your existing titanium muffler
  4. Try here They advertise in Grassroots Motorsports.
  5. That kicks ass Shawn. I may have to get some cam specs and cylinder head info from you.
  6. Ex girlfriend has one, alot of medical problems. Not as lazy as they look either.
  7. Head south to Tampa/Ybor and check out Prana. That is the type of club we need here.
  8. Standard SBCs use a .842" dia. lifter, not a .927. You could use some bronze liners honed to the chevy size.
  9. Hmmm, I do have an extra set of sb2 heads, Mike has a 406 shortblock he wants to sell..... smile.gif
  10. My ex girlfriend just paid over $2000 for one, it is very comfortable though.
  11. Except for the shock tower brace, it's not. Actually the FCs any very stiff little platforms. If I was going to drag race it, I would install a cage and firewall back frame rails. But since it's headed for the road course, I'll just tie the suspension points together the best I can without a cage.
  12. The fast ones do graemlins/nod.gif
  13. Hmm, quite a bit different grind than the one in mine. Of course the motors are pretty different too. I plan on trying a few different cams in this engine, I may have to try one in that neighborhood. Thanks for posting that, there aren't alot of sb2s out there and it's nice to see the different combos and the power they make.
  14. Nice numbers, I would be interested to see the cam specs on that motor for comparision.
  15. Well The V8 rx7 has been waiting on cylinder heads since last fall, they still are not done. So incase they are still under the knife come spring, I have a backup plan, a second set http://tinypic.com/2008w4 The CNC work is done, I will start finishing the port work this weekend, have almost a 1/4" milled off, and get some flow numbers to see how they stack up to my other/broken heads. Then after it's back on the road I will kindly ask everyone to "bring it"

    Plumbing ?

Replace it with a frost free sillcock. Its a special type of faucet made for cold climates. The outside knob controls a valve that is inside the house, this keeps all of the water inside the house and warm when it's turned off.
  17. No biggie. I know you are busy, moving a family into a new home is not a small task.
  18. I guess I'll plug myself here like eveyone else. 10 years welding and metal fabricating experience. TIG, MIG, and stick. Mild steel, Stainless, and Aluminum. Access to a complete metal fab shop. 80 ton and 60 ton press brake up to 10' capacity, 1/4" by 10' capacity shear, 3', 4', and 6' rolls, 60" x 120" plasma table and software, and much more. Many types and gauges of material in stock and availible at a large discount due to the small scale of most automotive jobs. And most importantly, the desire and ability to exceed your expectations. BTW, thanks to everyone for recommending me all of these times.
  19. graemlins/finger.gif He does doesn't he, I always fall face first though, not to the side
  20. Maybe old or a repost. Just roll your mouse left to right, no clicking required, to keep him upright on his way home. Drunk guy
  21. Thanks, I'll be there Friday, hopefully I'm not too late.
  22. It's cool to see something 60' that fast and stay almost perfectly level.
  23. Here ya go, if you have the cash this is an excellent system. http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/suspension/5_link.jpg Steeda 5 link $900
