  1. Im not sure, ill ask him the next time we talk. So hes lived in Vail for the past 5 yrs and said the Jackson Hole trip was some of the " most impressive mountains i've skied...BIG cliffs...steep lines...it's just plain scary. we skied grand targhee one day too which was one of the best powder days i've had." On another recent trip in Jan he hit Sundance UT. 25". I know that this was all inbounds.. no need to go anywhere else.
  2. Glad to hear youre getting good use out of it. I was just at snowshoe on tues and wed when the most recent system moved through. About 6-8" dropped over 5hrs wed afternoon which made for a great time. And the guy who made that video (lives in vail. CO) got hit today with 2ft of the fluffy stuff...fucker.

  9. Yea it seems like a truck is the way to go. I could even sleep in the back before i poney up for a camper. As far as a pull behind or a pop up I feel like I don't need that much room or space and id like to avoid pulling a trailer up some iced over mountain pass.

  11. So i've come to grips with the idea that i would like a truck again at some point down the road. One of the things i want to do is sleep in it during the winter (ski trips, cold weather hunting/fishing and general travel in the winter) but not much more ( like shower, cook, or shit). I plan on using this as an alternative to hotel/primitive camping. I see two viable options here: 1)truck with camper thing in the bed 2) large SUV that i just pull the seats out of and sleep in. Anyone have experience with either? truck with a camper in the bed. Pros After the camper is off the truck i can haul shit, including my MC's More amenities than the SUV option such as a real bed. raper mobile Cons Storage for camper when not in use? Do these things even have heaters? cant haul much more add'l gear or deer carcasses with the camper in the bed toughness of camper? everyone will know im driving a raper mobile SUV Pros potentially cheaper than a truck/camper combo has heat and ac for sure roof rack for gear to maximize sleeping space can use for hauling people and gear to destination trips not as rapey cons need a small trailer to haul MC's and deer (storage for small trailer) less amenities i'd rather have a truck Audible option 3 throw a "Leer" type cap on an extended truck bed and sleep in there with a -20 deg bag and cushy ground pad.

  13. Bat removal company. lol Off the top of my head bigger bat electronic fence/bug zapper. high powered vacuum (maybe the one they used in space balls) run a hose from your tail pipe to the attic and carbon monoxide the bastard feed it cheese burgers, fried food, cigarettes and ensure a sedentary lifestyle. Invite a real man into your house. Not only will he remove the bat but he'll finally satisfy your wife. or read this..seems to have some good ideas. http://www.stephentvedten.com/34_Bats.pdf

  18. I picked up a 95 YJ 4.0 Sahara only needing a new top and radio for 5k eight years ago. After squeezing on a set of 31x11.5 BFGs I had a reliable DD fully capable of weekend off roading madness and an ideal college car. Anyways it can be done. Got it in dayton off a private owner via the ancient technique of looking in the newspaper.
