  1. Time has come for me to part out my 1990 S13. Anything on the car is for sale except the motor set. If you want pictures of something that you don't see just let me know. Prices are very fair. Anything at all that you want on the car can be had. It's a full full part out.

LS1/240 mount kit: CNC'd motor mounts with delrin inserts, 1/4" steel trans mount with polyurethane insert, headers with 1 3/4" primaries into 3" high velocity merge collector with o2 bungs in collectors and 3" v-band connectors, driveshaft with thicker race car tubing, power steering lines and fittings (SS high pressure line) - $1300

(headers were smoothed down and painted black with hi-temp paint, I'm bad at taking pics of the final product lol)

  2. People are ignoring the fact that today your paying for not only amiercans but illegals when they go to the ER and don't pay there bill.

No, the problem is that instead of only having to pay for illegals to go to the ER, now we're making it mandatory for people to have insurance, so now we're going to be paying for ALL the illegals, not just the sick ones that go to the ER.

By making it easier for people to obtain basic services your reducing costs by creating a healthier population. Why is it Japan pays the least and has the longest life expectecny?

Cause they're not fat. Lol. Two things with that; 1) You have to look at the cost benefit factor. Is it a better financial decision to make everyone obtain basic service? Or to leave the unhealthy population as it is? And 2) With today's mindset, you're not creating a healthier population. People will continue to do what they please, indulge in what they want, with no regard to a healthier population. In fact, I would argue that it may even decrease the healthy population because now some people may be of the mindset that, "Oh hey, I have healthcare, I can do whatever I want because now I can go the doctor's." (much like, "Hey I just worked out for 2 minutes! Now I can have a triple baconator!")

Also people are penalized for not having car insurance also, Does that mean we should shut the govermetn down?

If you don't have car insurance and you hit someone, who pays for it? I believe that falls on the insurance company, as well as now the victim has to pay their deductable, all because THEY got hit and you had no insurance. Car insurance is there to protect all drivers.

Anyways, Sorry Ramsey, didn't mean to clog up your thread with this discussion. I'll be done now so you can get back to the actual thread lol.

  3. Just because YOU can't find any infomation doesn't mean there isn't any. I don't know how many times I've fixed PC's for people Who couldn't fix it them selves. That doesn't mean its unfixable.. It just means the person attempting was lacking the approaite knowledge.

And where are you coming up with this FREE notion, The idea of a single payer system was thrown a long time ago. Thats what we truly needed though.

Last but not least the FED Prints money not ft knox.

The PC analogy is great, but that works for PC's because you have a definite solution/answer to the issue. The problem is, we won't be told half of the puzzle until we agree to make it a law, at which point it would be too late to fight it should we not like the terms that are only provided once it becomes law.

Yes, it's not FREE, but it looks very appealing to many people who don't currently have insurance, or who are paying a lot for it now. I just wish that people could see that our government isn't REALLY going to offer something to the people that is cheaper than they can get on their own. Yes, up front and on the website it looks cheaper, but the american people across the board will pay for that in the long run thru increased taxes, reduced tax breaks at the end of the year, and penalizing those who opt not to partake in Obamacare.

  4. Honestly, I'm not sure. That's the problem though, you can't find much if any solid info on this whole ordeal, which is shady at best. What I've seen though is that there are a shit ton of taxes and stipulations and regulations and penalties that basically amount to; we won't be told the actual amount it's going to raise taxes, the amount of decrease in tax breaks at the end of the year or the amount of the monthly penalties (for opting to not have health insurance) until after you agree to it and make it a law.

This is not free. When you do something mass like this, the government HAS to make it funded somewhere. This funding isn't free. It's not coming from the Washington D.C Money Tree (er....Ft. Knox money printing tree), the taxpayers will fund it by higher taxes and less tax breaks and penalties, etc. If you're currently living paycheck to paycheck, or anywhere close, you will be bankrupt before you know it should this pass.

Bottom line: If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it's free.

  5. I'd let my daughter drive it if I owned it. Not HAVE it, but sure you can drive it. Mind you, my daughter won't be like most girly girls. Sure she'll have her girly side, but she's gonna know how to drive a car too.

Now if she was super accident prone, then I wouldn't let her open a door lol. But growing up in that family, I'm guessing she already knows how to drive and drive well.

  6. Saw the pics and thought "what a badass car", watched the video and learned the history and suddenly it was 10 times cooler.

Haha I thought the same thing. Especially when he said his daughter is about to get her temps and can't wait to get behind the wheel. Dad did something right there! Lol.
