  1. looks fun... I also find it interesting, I made the same horsepowerz and 150 more torquez
  2. Dear OP, http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1531498&postcount=14 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1531499&postcount=15
  3. I lol'd It is amazing how much their business has grown, even from just less than 2 years ago...
  4. the amazingness makes me second guess my desire for a satin white finish on my car...
  5. Lots of DYNO STUFFS! So I got hte car dyno tuned, and i have a plethora of results to share... I am also in the middle of doing a "Cincinnati Dyno Comparison" just because... Before charts, here are the results: Cincy Speed: (dynojet) 500/463 with the mufflers detached (still has the 3"- 2.5" restriction, but no mufflers) 494/456 as the car sits with exhaust. (I will get into the details of why I detached hte exhaust shortly) TPR: (DynaPack) 517/490 as the car sits - Hell yea! take that Kevin Doe Let me say that what really impresses me, is the torque. I am making nearly 400 ft*lbs by 3k rpm... and dont drop below that until 6700rpm. The HP is a littler lower than I was 'hoping' but still great. And I have the strongest suspicion this is due to the smaller primaries than ideal. On to dyno plot fun.... Before and After engine swap... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_7.jpg Final tune - blue / No mufflers - green http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_3-1.jpg As you can see the stock Ti mufflers are pretty good. I only picked up 6 peak hp, and 7 ft*lbs of tq. BUT in the low/mid range I picked up +20 ft*lbs with the exhaust off. The reason I took the exhaust off (as well as the MAF/intake) was because it was noticible in the datalogging that I was chocking the engine in the upper rpm (i will have that plot later), so was trying to trace it down. I believe the largest contributer of this, is the 1 3/4" primaries that I have, opposed to the 1 7/8" that most LS3 guys run. It seems to be costing me top end HP, but I am getting pretty impressive midrange tq with them. Here is the plot comparison of MAF/air intake attached vs detatched (blue is detached) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_4.jpg As you can see I actually LOST hp and tq by removing the MAF and air bridge. This is mostly likely because the air is no longer able to be kepted at a smooth/laminar transition into the throttle body. Also, if you're wondering, my car is in open-loop speed density, so I am not using the MAF (just the IAT inside it) Another interesting plot, is to show what dyno tuning can get you. The blue line is just a basic 'street tune' getting the VE table set to where we wanted it. The red line is modifying the commanded AFR as well as spark, to get power... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_6.jpg Some more comparison plots at Cincy Speed, I did this to try show an 'apples to apples' comparison of my build to other similar LS3 builds on the same dyno Red - me Blue - c6 LS3 with similar cam specs (BooSSt), intake, 1 7/8" headers and full 3" exhaust... (stock heads) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_G6X3BooSStVette.jpg Red - me Green - 2010 Camaro with nearly the same mods as me (G6X3, 2" headers, 3" exhaust, FAST, etc...) - note camaro will have higher drivetrain loss. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_G6X3Camaro.jpg Red - me Green - completely stock LS3 c6 corvette Blue - tune only LS3 corvette (same car) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_LS3VetteStock.jpg On to playing with the dyno.. (all these are final tune in red, and no mufflers in blue) changing from SAE correction, to STD correction, haha http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_STD.jpg And uncorrected... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/Dave_Dyno_Pulls_Uncorrected.jpg
  6. Thanks guys! I feel popular now <3
  7. Look for an inline wideband to plug into the controller for one of the race cars, for datalogging and potential closed loop control. Anyone have the hookup on Innovate LC-1/AEM, AEM UEGO, other? Just seeing if there are any 'better than standard interwebz' pricing anyone had?

  17. Pssh, like I said... Just buy my LS3 camshaft then find a single bolt cam gear with 4x timing mark... and get an ls2/3 front cover with timing sensor, and a racetronix camshaft timing sensor conversion harness, and BAM, you are good to go.
  18. Pretty sure 'someone' tried to warn you about that.
  19. Go Bearcats!! Errr, in 2012-2013 that is.... So... Who's going to NBA finals?
