  1. has not a thing to do with age. just some of the things that has typed itself out on your keyboard thats all. no ego here.

  3. When my car gets put back together I am looking at running some "impressive" times, it will get pretty good gas mileage (especially for what it is and the times it should run). It will look good and act and perform fully street able. Hence why i feel the LS1>LT1 far more in the world of tuning the car, mpg, power, 1/4 mile times. Drive to and from the track with the tops off (or on with the AC blasting) I am assuming you know what the 1LE stands for by your response.
  4. sad thing is he is a "senior member"... The american companies are lacking "imagination" in my opinion.
  5. All I have to say to that is 1LE.
  6. omGzzz!!zz!!!1 my car could be lucky to hit 16s.... majority of people here are drag racers. period. people who base buying their cars on driving in formation of cones should be backhanded. there are some cars out threre Anthony's formula for example that could go run low 11s high 10s all day long and still handle like its on rails for the drive home on some country roads and interstate on/off ramps. My car will be headed in that directions soon
  7. where is the lt1 picture like that bc?
  8. the 900 shot is being delivered by chuck norris solenoids through Jesus Jets plumbed into the re-sleeved cylindars!!! :eek2:
  9. I know it was a joke. I will post up some fresh pictures once I get the shit together all polished up and such
  10. I may be totally off but a set of QA1s with springs are priced around teh $420s if i am correct. which can be adjusted from drag to road/autox with a spanner wrench. with that said the LS1 being the lighter of the 2 would be superior for handling LS1 FTW
  11. http://www.weberracing.net http://www.ls1tech.com click a sponsor link the first link in gearheads sig ????! need more? id recomend the first link personally.
  12. Dah Troooooooooths LS1 period
  13. Well its all good I have fun driving it myself before long it will be a auto car well next year :asshole: Thanks for the parts deal bud
  14. I primarily do paint work, have done basic body work before, but limited experience.
  15. stock for stock the LS1 will be easier to maintain in the long run. the engine is lighter so it typically should handle better. I have saw ls1's go 9s!!!!! with stock rods, pistons and crank!!!!!!!!!!!! and the particular car is daily driven! I personally haven't saw that out of an LT1. I have saw the various cars Leo has built/designed the build for. QUALITY WORK. even on LT1 cars. Just too much of a gap between the ls1 and lt1 in power levels, gas mileage, drive ability, tuning and other levels of performance
  16. Did I say the LS1 was always going to be faster..hmm nope I sure didn't. Just the overall package of an LS1 is an overall better setup.
  17. IPS sells QTECs to bolt onto the cut-outs if it is just the cut outs. I got mine for a good price, stainless and all.
  18. If you have the cash I would recomend snagging the headers aswell very nice price on them
  19. I believe that you can find plenty of LSx cars on tech for around 8-9k with some mods done. I may be wrong tho. I would suggest an LS1 car over an LT1 car ANY and EVERYDAY. Mod friendly, great gas mileage (market segment) easy on the eyes, great power stock and gains nice with mods. Outside of the rear end which will be the problem with the LT1 cars. Except for initial price there is no great reason to go with an LT1. To each their own tho.
