  1. Never knew there was a difference in chargers. Just did a little reading between the 2. So a float charger is better to use than a trickle. So should you fully charge the battery and then put it on a float charger or just put on a float charger? The float charger seems like a better choice as it will shut off and back on as it senses the battery needs charged, but why would you ever use a trickle charger then?
  2. Yes title. Doesn't appear to be any rust that I seen. I picked this up and brought it out to his house today but I had to run home for a party. I will be back out there this evening or tomorrow at some point. He doesn't know anything about it as his brother in law bought it just before he passed. He did say the undercarriage and truck are in real good shape but I didn't have time to get pics yet. The trunk may be finished just like the rest of the car. The battery is dead but fired right up with the jump pack. The brakes are tight. The hood opens but its goofy because the hinges don't appear original and bent. I would expect to replace the hood hinges but it does open and close. The power seat controls are in the center console. It has a detachable radio but I didn't see the face. I will have to check the guys garage for it. I will also get more pics if it doesn't sell off craigslist first. The gears are weird because reverse is where I would expect 2nd to be. I started driving this to my buddys house but the brakes are tight and the battery wasn't charged enough to even help. Its been sitting and running rough, idled fine but when driving it wanted to fall on its face the brakes being so tight didn't help either. I ended up just pulling this from groveport to Pataskala old school with a chain. The brakes were smelling bad when I got there. It took 3 of us to push it 10'. Crack in the windshield and the drivers door wing glass is done.
  3. Welcome Tim, please post some pics of what ya got.
  4. I am the go to man on this one. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see it. Thanks This guy is in his 60's and doesn't want to deal with "the damn computer" as he puts it. I told him I would deal with the interested parties if he let me post it.

Motor is making some weird knock, I dont know if this is from sitting as well. Looks clean. Hes asking $4k but I can tell you theres room there. Looks lime a fun car. Power seats, 3 speed I believe. Cash amd a quick sll will be a big deciding factor on how low he will go. 10. It was on a trickle charger all winter but it was old and I don't think was in the best condition when it came with the car.
  11. Over the winter the battery in the 41 must have died, it was old anyways. I need to move the car around does anyone have battery that will hold charge and will be good for a few months?
  12. We bought a long shag rug at walmart for $30 a few months back.
  13. Buddy of mine agreed to buy a open car trailer if I agreed to store it. Prefer solid deck but the kind with just the 2 rails might work. Must have ramps. Doesnt need to be perfect. If I dont find something local we can get a great deal in tennessee the next trip down just seeing whats out there local first.
  14. Dont see anything about corneal tattoos so you still have that.
  15. Unfortunately i am in forced retirement for the forseeable future.
  16. As a painter i have to go through my stockpile every few years to downsize. I have agallon of interior pink, 3/4 gallon of a blue and almost a full gallon of a purple(think easter) and about a gallon of a squash yellow. Almost a full gallon of a hunter green exterior, great for doors. I will mix these all together in a 5 gallon bucket for you if you just want to use it to prime something or use whatever color these all combined would create. All is still useable but i would run it through a screen before using it just to prevent yourself from picking boogers out as you roll. I may screen it if you want it all mixed. I may have some white semigloss i can mix it all in with also if you want 6-7 gallons of a color. I would mix all of these with the semigloss in a big bucket mix it all to one color and pour into buckets for you. Needs gone asap. Must take all listed with the exception of the semigloss unless you want it.
  17. Looking to buy an aftermarket steering wheel to fit an 80's or early90's chevy steering column. Looking for something that would look good in an old hot rod. Thanks
  18. Buddy needs an a-833 tranny rebuilt, has a quote from a shop but looking to get others. Any recommendations.
  19. Bump. There may be a little room on the price.
  20. Check with Derek they have a good size pile of junk tires before the disposal guy picks them up.
  21. Yeah if the gas tank is below, you probably dont want to plasma cut.
  22. If anyone does do this without a permit just remember not to sit your old one out for the metal scrappers. The city seeing one sitting out is how the tend to go back and see if you pulled the permit.
