I will try this. It hasnt been this loud since I replaced the clutch fan in an effort to fix it. Today it became crazy loud and just knocking like it was a diesel freightliner. Advance sells the bearing for $20 so dont know if that might be a way to go if this doesnt work.

So you can replace just the bearing? How hard is it to do? Require special tools?

Vehicle is a 02 bravada. At idle I can see the pulley or clutch on front of the ac compressor(SERPENTINE BELT ATTACHES) not really spinning but attempting to on its own. It will move a bit but not much. When I turn the ac on, its cold and this pulley will move. Could a bearing be going bad inside the pulley? If so, is it time to replace the compressor? Anyway to check it or clean it or any suggestions? It is making a gawd awful noise. Thanks

The way this works is I can only sign up for classes 3 days before a quarter starts. Since I have to have so many credit hrs, I have to sign up for whatever is available and this is one of the few.

I cant afford you. We have already been through this. I spent $2k on the whole job including excavating, materials and removal. You wanted $1k just to swirl it. I am a struggling college student. Bad thing is the brush we started with broke 1/2 way through so theres 2 different patterns. Should have had them met at a joint but didnt. Theres also the appearance of where a cold joint was starting. Should all belnd in if not no biggie.
