For me, college is a joke and a waste of time. I will never work for a company who puts stock in a piece of paper and I dont care to take any course to learn anything. I do wish to be credited for the work I did though. I emailed the head of the dept. and he is checking into it.

We have stayed in litchfield for almost 30 years. Its closer to pawleys island and a much more relaxed, secludid atmospher once you get away from myrtle beach. Plus you can still do the myrtle beach thing since its about 15 minutes away.

Wife bought a new fridge so ours is now for sale. Its an older side by side model white in color. No ice or water in door, no ice maker. We bought it used 6 years ago and has ran fine ever since. Its not perfect, missing the only drawer it has. Would be great for a garage fridge but I already have one. So $125 is what I would like to get out of it. Will take trades so if you have something I may like, let me know. Just ask I dont know what I may be interested in. Pretty firm on the price for now. Will get pics up tomorrow.

School is CSCC. Beginning of quarter we were assigned groups for a project(I didnt like this to begin with) due at the end of quarter. Project was a walk in the park. I took the lead on it and assigned each person a different part. We were done in a few days. We agreed we would have 1 presenter(present to class). We get to the last class of the quarter and the other 2 groups decide each of their members would give their own portion. These guys were studdering sweating, just giving shitty presentations. Our presenter said he gives presentations all the time and felt comfortable doing it alone, great. 10 mins before its our turn, our group made up of young 20somethings gets nervous and also decides they want to each present their portion. Each presentation was suppose to be 15 mins, something I confirmed with the professor a few class's earlier. 3 hrs in and its not our turn yet. I finally tell him I have to go, I had other plans I wasnt going to miss. He was informed of how our group would be presenting 6 times throughout the quarter and there was no issue. He told me he would take it as a personal offense if I leave. So I left. I get my final grade and my leaving took my grade from an A to a final B. When I checked the other group members they all received A's. I did a majority of the project, organized everyone, did the portions of those students who dropped the class 1/2 way through and everything. He refuses to address this issue. Am I wrong here? I am pissed because my other classes were all A's and I just wanted to get the best grade I could.

I will check there. First time in college with my own kids just a few years away from attending. Theres still alot I dont know.

Anyone who has been to college, is it possible to dispute your grade with someone other than your professor? I received an unfair grade and the professor wont listen to reason. Can you do anything about it? No I will not resort to any violence.

I know there have been threads asking this before but i cant find them. Who repairs tv's? My aunt gave me a big one and its a crt or whatever they were called before before flat screens and it will probably be cheaper to just get a new one but if someone offers free testing, I thought I would get it checked anyways. Free tv shaped in the form of the race car from disney's cars. Its red with wheels blah blah blah. It has a dvd player built in but it doesnt open. It tries but wont come out. You can grab the tray and force it out but then you have to force it in. There was a cover that went over the buttons but it broke off and is missing. It came from a friend of my aunts but we dont need it. Might look good in a kids room. It comes on but I havent hooked cable to it or anything. I am always surprised when I hear about another country who adopts something which we grew tired of decades ago. I would think our cultures wouldnt be that far apart.

I have been boating since I was a teenager and owned several boats. I have yet to almost sink one and the boat that has been sitting for years will fire up in under 10 seconds. Your move.................

Although that was retarded, for those who have never actually pulled a loaded boat out of a shallow dock, it can be a very scary proposition until you do it once or twice. Once a year I see even experienced guys go way to far back as they try. those ramps can be extremely slippery below water line. Its almost impossible to walk in even a few inches of water at times, imagine the wheels spinning as you feel yourself slipping backwards.

Buy them all and I may help. I will at least help with delivery but you are kinda far so gas money may be in order. You working tomorrow?

Bump price drop

I have a few hundred(as of now) of these retaining wall bricks/blocks. They were used for walls in front of our home before we redesigned it. They will need powerwashed or hosed off. They are the wider blocks offered at most home depot type stores. They are narrower in back than the front and there are 2 different spots where you can put a chisel to split them for making sharp radius'. I would say half are already split but that doesnt affect how the stack or how they look. They make real nice walls around flower beds and such. Heres updated details. The golf outing is August 29th. You can sign up early or the day of. Its $65 per person or $260 per team. It is at the Racoon golf course. The price includes round of golf and cart. After the outing its back to the Lounge bar for a free meal(a big spread). There will be a ton of door prizes and raffle items. Nike is one of the major sponsors this year. After the meal its off to Rachels gentlemens club for entertainment(admission included). Drink tickets included. Even if you dont golf, you can make a donation at the bar and enjoy the food and drinks. The annual golf outing in memorial of my cousin who took his own life shortly after returning from the war is coming up in august. We are looking for golfers to come join.
