Looking at a 02 mountaineer. Engine will crank but wont start. Looking for a decent winter vehicle and if its something easily fixed I may take it since it appears to be priced decent($2500). Any suggestions on what to look for when checking it? I assume listen for fuel pump, loose wires.

I have been living at a fraction of what I should be making due to being hurt and off work however we still havent cut back all that much. My wife did start shopping for 1/2 our groceries at aldi's. I remember as a kid that place was off brand city. But they are nice clean stores(e broad st.) and what she doesnt get there we shop walmart. There have been things I would have boughten but didnt but no real cut backs yet.

But a weekend of solid boating from sun up to sun down in a large lake lasts months. If we had anyone interested, I could probably swing hosting a weekend of fun. the only rule would be the house would have to be treated better than people treat their own. I dont want tomake mommy and daddy upset.

Why would anyone want a fast boat around here? I go to the lake house in tennessee and I can spend hrs heading in one direction. And the house is free. I need to take you guys to a real lake someday.

Fuck that. Thats work and I aint about no work. It runs and I am fine with that. I am certainly not putting any money into it. The other boat already costs a small fortune to maintain and its not even in this state.

The carb is still fucked up, wont let me launch until it wants to.

Lets get the boats out before I sink mine and collect the insurance for a better one.
