  1. My situation is very unique. It would take me a few years to actually run out of funds. That thread was a more " what to do right now for my future" if I remember correctly and referring more to my play money than the money we use to live.
  2. It might do perfectly fine on the freeway I may never know.
  3. The shop needs a new laptop, looking to trade a custom cake for one. If you have something and interested in trading so I don't have to go buy one please let me know and we can work out the details. Thanks
  4. The Plymouth will more than likely have to go if I decide on the Camaro as I don't have enough room for both. Now if I could ever find a new house with the pole barn I want I would just pile them all inside.
  5. What do you know about the Plymouth? Has a new fuel tank, runs and drives anywhere I have taken it thus far and I do drive it around town regularly. Its solid as a brick now that I replaced the harmonic balancer which was making it ride like a freight train do to the PO beating the shit out of it forcing it in.
  6. I am certain I will never be happy with any car I have but again it's been a long time since I had a just turn key and go fun car.
  7. I have the opportunity to pick up a 68 camaro, bone stock no frills in good condition, drivable and what does need done can be while still keeping it on the road. Now I do already have a fun car(41plymouth, pics somewhere on here) and although I do drive it locally I fear taking it on the freeway, it needs decent amount of body work, needs door glass, interior redone blah blah blah. Even in its current condition I get a lot of attention and people are always asking about it when it's out, kinda has a cool factor. It would take a small fortune to get it perfect and I would never put more money into it other than just making it a decent cruiser. I have no idea what it's currently worth or what it will ever be worth while I own it. The camaro however holds its value and they seem to only go up. It would be nice to finally get in something that I can drive whenever/wherever I want, something the Plymouth doesn't allow for. Can't decide if I should keep the kinda cool much older car that needs work or go with a more standard classic that allows me to use it more. Any thoughts?
  8. I have had 3on it and it towed just fine.
  9. Sorry for the picture delay. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/2013-08-13_18-13-00_756_zps35999509.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/Resampled_2013-08-13_18-12-41_186_zps3feeb5bd.jpg
  10. I need some body work and fab work as well. Kinda tricky as its all custom. I can setup a temp paint booth if you can do the repairs and I decide to reprint the whole thing.
  11. Anyone happen to have a copy of the book "trash" ( andy mulligan) I can borrow or purchase? Also looking for the great gatsby.
  12. We just bought a top of the line sterns and foster. Super soft and comfortable but man its the hottest mattress I have ever slept on. I assume the heat is kept by all that makes it comfortable.
  13. Forget the bus driver, there wasn't one kid on that bus who had the stones to try and help? When I was a kid I was always willing to take a licking if it meant doing what was right. My dad would have beat my ass if he knew I stood by and didn't even try to help.
  14. Theres a farm on mink rd just outside of Reynoldsburg. The son who owns the next house up sells firewood.
  15. Does the change need to be rolled or can it be loose in a 55gl drum? For those that don't know, Scott is a really good guy.
  16. Good. The only issues with the body of the truck are those caused by previous owners. Some scratching in the paint a few dings. The price at auction is the only reason I own it.
  17. Hot damn i have a list i want to work through and gas money.
  18. So I jumped it again today and took over to advance to test the alt and battery. Both tested relatively well but the battery kept saying needs charged. Again on the way over it felt like it was in a limp mode or was running out of fuel. I left the battery and they charged it but even then it said to charge the battery. Luckily the battery was replaced for free and at least on the drive home it seemed fine.
  19. I started it this morning after jumping and instantly checked it with meter, I was getting around 14 amps or volts whatever it is on the battery with it running. The alternator does kinda sound like its whining. If the alt was bad wouldn't it have died when I disconnected it or would enough charge been in the battery to keep it going?
