Guys build these for just a few thousand and thats what I hope to do. But it needs to be safe and I am very resourcful when it comes to all my projects so if I knew from experience what it needed I would be more comfortable in deciding.

This would be my keeper. Since my 71 chevelle was destroyed by a drunk driver, I have been looking for something, almost everyday for 8 years now. I was gonna go fbody but everyone got one, I was gonna go vette but everyone started getting them and then I got hurt and spent the vette money on bills to survive so I thought why not get something the next guy wont have. And since then I have come to really like the rat rod look. The corvair was going to be it but I sold it earlier this year.

Waiting on parts list as well. This is a fair weather driver so it has front glass thats what I need. Someone ball park me some price ideas. This project is beyond anything I have ever done. I can figure it out eventually but anyone have experience? Rat rods are known for using the barest of essentials. If it was just for the bike, I would say no problem. The $1000 I hate to come off of.

Waiting on a to-do list from him. My priority when doing projects is that I need to double my money in a split second if I decide to sell.

I at one time offered him, my van, my bike and my camper. He turned me down then came asking for them. He then said my bike plus $2800. We are now at the bike and $1000, I was going to do the $500 as well but there is almost no chance in getting it done. I then have to figure out how much more to finish it up so its driveable to cruise while I work on it here and there. main priority is getting it on the road to cruise.

Well I built the bike for free(I will never sell it on here now). I bought 3 bikes and made this one in 4 hrs and sold everything else so this bike is free. Except for the $300 in brand new parts this year. I would sell it outright for $2800 plus the $1000 he wants.

I am looking at a trade for a 32 ford p/u truck. Its a project that needs work. Its mostly there but definately needs work. For those who are un-aware what a rat rod is look at my alblum. We have negotiated over the past few weeks and we are now at the point where he wants my bike(98 cbr 900rr) and $1000 cash money. Any opinions? Also search craigslist bike section. I have a 4 place bike hauler for a trailer hitch on the ss if you want to borrow it as well.

Come use my schwinn. Its been in the garage on the rack for years. I use it about once or twice a year. Come borrow it whenever you want. I believe my bike is a frontier gsd.

There are deals to be had all over craigslistright now on mini vans. she coud probably take her budget in 1/2 and still get a decent van.

That sucks, glad I went to outback even though I hate their food. I had the same thing happen to our friends a few weeks ago at a restaurant in tennesse. On our recommendation we went and the server spilled 4 glasses of tea on my buddy completely soaking him. They wouldnt comp anything. The worst part was they were paying for us since we went to the lake and showed them a good time. I tried to pay for everything yet they still insisted on paying.

I went to columbus public schools the majority of my life having grown up on thurman ave. until the middle of high school when we moved to pickerington. I am in no way religeous nor care to be but if it meant my kids going to columbus public, I would place them in a religeous school setting very quickly. They are in Reynoldsburg school district now and so far we are very pleased with the school sytem. Who knows as they get older how it will be, but my wife stays very active within their schools.

Not necessarily fair. People raise kids to believe what they do all the time. Do you not raise your kids(if you have any) to believe anything you do? You would teach them whats right or wrong based on what you believe wouldnt you?

I am to embarrassed to say what lengths I have gone to make my point at my childrens schools. But it got the point across.

Threaten people early on. Let them know you mean business.
