  1. Dan I will be your hype man.
  2. Wow 2 mins on the phone with ruger and they are being sent to me.
  3. Just before christmas I purchased 2 ruger lcd lasermax's. I was told they were accidentally shipped without the lasers however they were on order and would arrive a week later. Here we are 5 months later and still no lasers. I have stopped in several times and made repeated phone calls. Seems like there are 5 that were shipped this way and so far only one laser has come in. I dont know if I should take further action at this point or what I should do. Everytime I have a correspondence with these people they act as though I should expect this to happen and it has nothing to do with them. I have yet to get a return call despite being told I would each time I call.
  4. I probably have every one made let me see if the kids are done with them.
  5. No way to tell from the pics if the roofing contractor is at fault. As long as they did nothing uncharacteristic of their trade or neglect they will not be at fault. They could have staged every new shingle one on top of the other and that roof should have held. It doesnt appear its as bad as the pics first show.
  6. Tall timbers here as well. Plus I can get you a good price on a wedding cake from a few miles down the road. Wink wink.
  7. Its been on there a very long time.
  8. It took a shop 3 attempts at figuring out what it was. He was picking it up tonight after they called and said they finally got it. I assume its good to go.
  9. Thanks for the help. This goofball put the new calipers on the wrong sides. Dohhhh.
  10. My buddy has been trying to repair the brakes on his 2004 dodge dakota. He started out replacing the pads and seized front calipers. Tried bleeding several times and couldnt get the pedal to become stiff while the truck was running. He then replaced the brake booster(dont ask me why) and still nothing. He took it to a small shop where he lives and they suggested it might be the master cylinder. He replaced that and still nothing. When he bleeds the brakes they seem to bleed just fine, solid stream doesnt appear to have any air in line. Doesnt seem to be leaking or have an opening in the system. Any ideas?
  11. Just as described, just as normal as a clean title car if its already been inspected which it sounds like it has. Some insurance agencys will only allow for liability so best to call and check.
  12. Define truck box. I have subs and amps. Nothing has been used in a long time.
  13. 1998 audi a4. Might be for sale in a week.
  14. I feel like I pretty much just watched it.
  15. I have been pleasantly surprised when working on this. I really figured after sitting I would run into alot of issues with rusted bolts, seized parts, frame issues. It is really solid. Theres alot of worn suspension parts and what was probably decent work for the time it was built that now needs redone but I couldnt be happier with what I have to start with.
  16. I had a similar epiphany as the op years ago. Cars almost became whoever had the most money could easily be the fastest so why really bother. I enjoyed cars alot more when I didnt have the financial means to just buy something fast or even afford to build something fast like I probably could at this point. I far more enjoy older cars and tinkering with them. At least with older cars your almost always guaranteed to not have the same thing as everyone else at a meet.
  17. I hopefully will have it to a point I feel comfortable having it on the road in time to drive it to track day.
  18. Made some progress over the last few days. Been hard with the kids on spring break and the car at my in laws. Found some broken intake bolts and one on the water pump. Replaced the intake gaskets, transmission pan gasket, water pump gaskets, did a tune up, oil change. I have the rear shocks off and hopefully new ones will be on tomorrow. The harmonic balancer is wobbling like crazy so I will replace it tomorrow as well. Found a few leaking hoses. Drove it on its maiden voyage around the block and it seems to run solid. I will start ripping out the rigged fuel tank and replace the trunk floor with either a premade pan ($200) or just a cheap piece of flat sheet steel. I plan on replacing the old fuel tank with a new fuel cell. After some research I found that the block is actually a 67-68 283 from a chevelle. I dont know what cam it has but its been upgraded with electronic ignition and newer style heads. Oh and the heater works so theres that.
  19. Isnt that what you guys call rolling coal?
  20. The psycho dude kept cutting them off. It doesnt appear he was tailgating him.
  21. Buy you a premade cover. Might be the cheapest.
