Clay I did a chevelle years back with pretty good results. I did the single stage product as well. Part of my prep included creating a small paint booth out of plastic in the garage and an old box fan for ventilation. I thought it was worth the added time as from previous paint projects either in the open or in the garage I learned that no matter how hard I tried, something always found its way into the paint.
When you use that one man setup I assume theres air in the tube connected between the fitting and bottle. You pump and old fluid is forced into the tube however probably doesnt fill it all up at one shot. When you ease up it has to draw some of that fluid back into the line right? If so is it just not enough to make what your doing counterproductive, as in you force it out and then its drawn right back in? Also I have a small manual vacuum, could I esentially attach this to the line and start pumping as long as I keep filling up the reservoir? Lastly whats the order in which you should bleed the brakes?
Okay so it would be a trade up for you, lol. I wonder if it "rustles jimmies"(did I use that right?) of the guys who spend $$$$$$ into a car with the sole goal of being the fastest at the track and know that they could have built something similar for the same money or likely even less.
Another quick search pulled up this http://www.racecarmagazine.com/ForSale/AdDetails.asp?Ad_ID=5604
The frame is done he wants $6500 figure he might take $4k if it doesnt sell/sold with less "extra parts". Either way it sounds like you can get a full tube chassis car already done for less than having one built if you find someone whos tired of their project. What kind of motors/blocks are capable of that kind of speed? Would you go LS?, I dont know these jz whatever they are motors, but is that where its at?
Alex put some rough estimates for what theose parts might cost next to each one. I would say with some of your guy's smarts when it comes to this stuff you could take an educated guess about what he's running and come fairly close. With what I see guys putting into their cars to go 1/2 that speed why not take the same money and an educated guess and make something similar. I know guys have to drop at least $20k on cars only to run 10's, 11's hell even 12's.
This isnt to debate this or that, I truley wonder why.
Tell them to send pics. If all you want is a shell it should be fairly easy to see what your getting. Ask them what makes it salvage. Theft recovery, flood, interior fire, these all would still have good shells.
Alex check out this site, go down to the years you want and look at the ones with clear titles. A few of them will probably go so cheap even with shipping you might come out ahead.

Search salvage vehicles or repairables and look for local sales. Salvage sites carry clean title vehicles as well.
I replaced both mine with the cheapest I could find on ebay(pm auto parts I believe) and never had an issue. I knew I was risking it but its been 40k miles and no problems yet. I have since ordered other parts from them with no issues. You are taking a chance when you order from a place like that.
