HA HA I just got my bill in the mail from the insurance company yesterday. Its up to 1,249.00 a year. It went up another 78.00 from last year. So I call them and they tell me that it is getting raised every year due to inflation. Yet another story from them. So they are saying that it will cost 268,000 to rebuild my house and I am covered for 146,00 on the contents. I fell out of my chair laughing. I paid 160 for my house 6 years ago and I have no where near 146k in contents. And when the latest audit came around last year it appraised for 143. I am following up on it today. This is just so blatant that its funny.

Mine was 10k and my premium has gone up 100.00 a year ever since then. They keep telling us this every year when I call about the rate increase. It started at 450 a year through Metlife and we pay like 900 a year now through the same company. They also told me that the number of claims in your area will effect the rate as well. Im thinking how in the hell is that fair. Your gonna raise my rate over and over for the same claim and then increase it because my neighbor had a claim also. I need to go in to the insurance business.

Yes it would . He was originally wanting to do a 426 and I talked him out of it. The 4 fastest modern mopars are all running BES motors. I spoke with Bischoff and he said that only 1 of them is a 426. Billy spoke with Mike, that has the Blue Super Bee. He ran 9.00 with his 6.1, procharger and a single hit on 225hp pills. I think he said he was making 1149 at the wheels and I am wanting to say at 14psi but I am not 100% on that..

We are still putting the motor together on paper but it is more than likely gonna be getting an F1A Procharger and a fogger. Like I said, the work that they did looks ok at a glance but once we dug in to the car we found a ton of problems. Almost everything that they did was wrong or just slapped together.

I mentioned it to him a couple of times. I will say something to him this evening. HA HA WOW. Well I guess your right . He never told me that he tried to sell it. I can tell you that he probably does have 50k in that car. I know what he spent in NJ. He got his angus ripped apart in NJ. I warned him about taking it up there. When I was pulling the motor out, I seen some of what they did and they hacked pretty much everything they did. It looked good at a glance but once we started taking the car apart, the poor workmanship was evident. I also told him that he will never get his money back out of this car, even with what we are doing to it now. I talked him in to going fast and I think the bug has a hold on him now. He is wanting to call all out on it. He has been talking about buying an SRT 8 Jeep now too.

I bought my 00 Yukon XL in 2007 for 10k with 120k on it. It was in perfect condition when I bought it. When I traded it in last Nov, it had 200k on it and it was still running great, but not 12k great. More like 4k great.

It still makes a squeaking noise. After I blew up and knocked one of the doors off the hinges at Carmax I figured that I was pretty much done with them. I will take my loss and just learn from it. The overall process of buying the car through Carmax was awesome. However their service department sucks and their techs do also. At least the ones they had working on my car. I will never go back to Carmax again. A warranty or guarantee does not mean crap if they can't fix it.

Thats what I was saying. They will try to upsell regardless of if it needs it or not. Your correct though. The more appropriate word is scamming.

50K?? I think you might be thinking of someone else. The car has been in Cincinnatti for the last 2 or 3 months. He didnt have it out more than a handful of times last year because he had all kinds of problems with it after he got it back from 402 in New Jersey.

When I traded in my Yukon for the VW, I took what Carmax offered. I probably could have made another 1,000 to 1,500 by selling it privately. I did it strictly for the time and convenience.

My buddy has an 08 SRT 8 Charger and he loves it. I am not really impressed by the factory performance though.

This is my buddys car that we just started on. He sent it to 402 Motoring in New Jersey last year and won best of show several times when he got it back. He was not real happy with the workmanship on his car and has decided to go in a different direction. It is going to stay a street car but we plan on drag racing it as much as possible and still maintaining some show quality. This thing should make around 1100 RWHP with the direction that we are going with it and we should have it ready by next Spring. Yeah the doc informed us of tubal pregnancies. She said that she burned them as well which is supposed to reduce that risk. Like you said, there is still a small risk though.
