I know what training I have gone through and I know if an officer is negligent and that allows an individual to be harmed, then the department and that officer are liable. And buddy I didnt just graduate, Im 35, I graduated a long time ago. And I am sure your infinate wisdom of so and so told me something will hold a lot of water over my actual training. And the reason I didnt become a cop is because they couldnt pay me what I was already making and because of the abuse of authority I witnessed over and over again.

If someone is stranded on the side of the road and gets taken out by a passing car and a cop is just sitting across the street watching, what then? At the very least he should make sure they are in a safe spot on the roadway, or off of the roadway for that matter, he should set out flares or cones or something to make sure that person is safe on the side of the highway. THAT IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY AND PART OF HIS JOB. He doesnt have to help change the damned tire but he needs to make sure that person is safe. And yeah Im sure he is listening to dispatch and clocking cars while a person has been waiving at him for 5 min and he doesnt even aknowledge. He is probably surfin porn on his iphone or sleeping.

I actually got my start in parts at Jegs. Worked there for a 1.5 years first then wen to Nourse Chevy, Plaza Pontiac and ran the Parts America in Delaware for a little while. Jegs was the coolest, the dealerships were fun because we had free reign pretty much but fights with the techs were pretty common. Parts America was just plain stressful.

Brendon is my son and My first job was at 14 and I made $4.00 an hour at GD Ritzys in the Columbus square. I had to work an 8 hour shift and still didnt make $35.00 a day. I guess you shoulda started saving that car money when I told you to HUH?????????? I'll tell ya what. Usually shops will get jobber pricing or somewhere close to that. I was a parts manager at Nourse Chevrolet in Delaware for 2 years and it was like a 150% markup on some stuff. Honestly if we liked the person then we would give them flat jobber. if not then we could pretty much set the price up to full list.
