  1. i dont think there is any type of epoxy that can hold the pressure and heat. i have seen steel plugs before, but have never used them or heard about them. ever think about getting a tape set and making some threads and screwing in a plug..
  2. first off im not a huge civic fan so i dont know much about them and/or turbos. but i do know alot about cars. my question to you is.. i have a friend that has a 90 hatch with a 95 integra engine swap. he wants to put a turbo on it but the one he has is small. i think its a waste of his time/money to put this small turbo on it. i believe its a t-25 and small side mount intercooler. (i think they are the stock ones of eclipses maybe). will that setup be resonable? or should he save and get something bigger. also if its possible about how much hp does 7 psi give you? i didnt think it was the same with every car and turbo, but i dunno.
  3. ever go to mckinnely ave? there are several junk yards along that road. its off 670 west of columbus
  4. ive seen you posting alot and wanting alot for this crx. i give you credit for wanting to do an engine swap, but changing it to right hand drive isnt worth it.

    wheel/tire

do a search for exotic tire dealers. the sizes you are going to need is anywhere from 295/45/20 to 325/50/20. they will be expensive prob. $250 and up per tire. try this company

  8. this might help ya.. NEW IMAGE POWDERCOATING STRUTHERS, OHIO 330-872-1918
  9. mine did it to( i had last years model thou). dont know why and could never fix it, but it is the only problem i have had w/ pioneer head units
  10. im not an expert, but i think its just a sensor the dectects the brakes locking up. shouldnt hurt the car in the long run. just be careful!!
  11. i think that only works with s-10's and blazer's.
  12. this is just an idea.. but i would get some masking tape and paper/pen and every wire you disconnect number both ends with tape and write it down on paper... this way you keep track of every wire disconnected and can check it off when putting it back together and you also get the wires correct.
  13. 'Home' subs have voice coils also. From what you've described, it sounds like ya blew it. If you have access to another speaker, plug it in to the same connection and see if it has a similar noise. I blew two different Cerwin Vega 12's and the estimate to repair them was damn near as much as new ones. +1 switch speakers if you can. if you can't dont waste your money fixing it, buy a new one
  14. did you try finding new guages for it. i looked alittle but didnt find anything for your car. have you took your gauge's out before? maybe you could find some replacement bulbs for them

  16. yea jegs and summit also have electric vacuum pump's but they want 250 and up. i wasnt really wanting to spend that much. i thought about converting the brake booster over to a hydralic booster before but thats something i have never done. wouldnt be sure on how to.
  17. i have one already and it didnt seem to work. maybe i had it hocked up wrong. ill try that first.
  18. i am having a problem with vacuum at low rpm and its not creating enough vacuum for my brake booster. could i possibly take my fuel pump and use it as a vacuum pump. i have an electric fuel pump so i dont need the mechinical one. has anyone ever tried this or done it? if so will it create enough vacuum? its on a 350 chevy and it has a big cam in it thats why its not creating vacuum at low rpm
  19. im thinking about tearing apart and rebuilding the bottom half of my 350, but thats the only thing ive never done. can anyone give me advise on how hard it is to replace a crank and bearings and any helpful hints or little tricks before i tear it apart.... thanks in advance
  20. alright, man. well i can help you. i work at nights and sometimes in the morning. let me know when you are free and we can work out a time.
