i have an exhaust from a civic that was totaled. there are no holes in it, but its dented up. we were going to use it as a joke on one of our beaters but never got around to it. its yours if you want it.
thanks man. i thought he would need a new ecu. does that need hard wired in? can you get that from like a junk yard? or should he get a new one? sorry for so many questions, im new at the ecu and computered shit. thats why ill stay carburated
heres the thing. he had the engine in a 93 civic and the car was totalled. we pulled the engine/tranny out and got ride of the car. he unpluged all the harnesses and got the motor mounts and one axle. i know he will need a integra axel for the driver side and the mounts will work. i just am not sure if he needs to get a new ecu or wiring or if the plugs in the civic now will plug into his b18b since it was already in a civic.

i have a buddy that has a a 94 civic with a b16a (i believe single cam vtec) and he is going to put in a b18b (i believe dual cam non vtec). i know the engine will fit and it will be a pretty easy swap, but im worried about the wiring/harness. will he need to have someon hard wire or do they sell a wiring kit or will it just be a plug and go....

it is a four bolt and i almost positive it was a rod spun, b/c all the main ones looked good. i still have them if you want to take a look. its bored .03 and crank ground .01
it was bored and built by a machine shop and it lost oil pressure b/c of a spun bearing. i had talked to someone about it and they looked at the bearing and said it was caused by material in the block. it was just something i am trying to get ride of.
want to trade for a 350 long block. it needs built, but i have everything except crank bearings and gasket.
edit: if not i will see what i can do about getting some money together, may be awhile tho.
i agree, but if your about to spend 350k on a car not to drive it, chances are you can buy a couple more that you could drive. the guy who bought it is prob jay leno or someone like that, that has a shit load of cars anyways.
i was at the dyno for a bit. is yours the yellow one with the black wheels. if so those wheels are bad ass and you have a nice mustang. if i rem right you put down some pretty good numbers also.

i dont think the tranny's are the same and i dont think the convertor is the same either. why are you wanting to get ride of the th350 for the 700r4? i guess the 700 is a four speed, but i think the 350 is better.
i am in the process of restoring the body on the monte and i have half of the interior out and i need some things refinished and what not. anyone know of a good shop i can take it to and see what they can do.
