  1. Anybody have any experience with one of these? I'm thinking about getting my concealed carry permit and the only handgun I have is my Kimber Custom II and while I know plenty of people will say it's practical to carry a full size 1911 concealed I think I would like something a little smaller. I've seen a lot of good reviews on these just wondering if anyone on here has personal experience with one.
  2. Hell yeah I had a 79 and an 80 and both were unstoppable though they weren't turbos
  3. I think it said 220 on the trunk, next time I see it I'll pay more attention and find out for sure
  4. This old guy has got you all beat. I see him frequently here at the library in London and yes this pick was taken today in the dreary ass fog. I dont think he lives in town because everytime I see him somewhere else its along 665 somewhere. The farthest I've seen him is 665 and 71. I think its pretty cool that he drives something like this as much as he does and it doesnt just sit in a garage waiting for a pretty day to go around the block. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/2011-12-20114917.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/2011-12-20114907.jpg
  5. Be careful what you wish for. A guy I work with is from rural pennsylvania where this very senerio started a few years back. Its not all the fairytail story that they tell you about.
  6. Dont forget this one http://www.mustangclubofohio.com/
  7. When I was still in the active duty we had a coffee table made out of a Lockheed C-141b windshield some 2x4's and 4'x4's that was one durable table. Still have that windshield in my dads basement, not looking forward to moving that thing it's like 2 inches thick and probably 3'x3 1/2' its a beast.
  8. Really want this, if my last drill check would ever post I would be all over it.
  9. Dont really know how to describe this other than it's cool, it's made of PVC and its powered by wind.
  10. I've got a buddy thats been doing this and racing for CRCRC for years, I love going to watch him race but damn when he races the on road stuff I can barely keep up with the cars just watching let alone racing. Fun to mess with and the level of adjustability of some of those cars is insane but I suck to bad at it to be competitive on any level.
  11. Hehe could be but we argued 2 nights ago she seemed alright last night. It could all be part of her plan though.
  12. How is a bad hard drive user error? explain
  13. I'll have to check that out, last time they had to come out to fix something they gave us a 12hr window of when they would be here. If it's the same way this time I'll see if I can just stop by and exchange it so they wont have to be bothered. Yay for customer service
  14. its set up to not delete, the last time it did this it was at about 53% and some half hour show came on that it was supposed to record. It popped up telling me I didnt have enough room and to delete some things and when I went to the list to see what I could get rid of everything was gone. Just got off of the phone with time warner they said it sounds like a bad hard drive and are going to replace the unit. Besides like I said it was at 43% capacity and nothing else was recording last night so even if it was set up to delete for the space it shouldnt have since there was nothing to make space for.
  15. How do you user error a dvr I turn the damn thing on, I go to the list and even though it was at 43% last night its now at 4% nobody erased anything but everything that wasn't recorded last night is gone.
  16. For the second time in probably 2 months or so our dvr has decided to delete everything that we had saved on it. Pisses me off because I had 3 australian V-8 road races saved, along with bullit and a few other races. I'm about to start recording things on damn vcr again at least I know when I want to watch what I record it will be there.
  17. Ha the only way to make a little money in aviation is to start out with allot.
  18. He's lucky those cameras were there or he would have been at the bottom of that Glory Hole.
  19. Always looked like fun, I might have to try it out sometime.
  20. Huh well I'll be damned, never seen that before. When I lived in Grove City I used to like to stop by Ackerman when they were running autocross in that big parking lot but I never noticed any front wheels coming up like that. Your right those guys definitely need some practice on the autocross course but it was nice to see them out putting all that horsepower to use instead of just sitting in a parking lot or an auditorium talking about how much power they make. Also helps prove my point when people start talking about huge power numbers and I ask them what the point is if you cant put it to the ground other than massive burnouts and tire carnage.
  21. I've seen the inside rear wheel of a car come up before but that's a first for the front one well at least on a car that didn't have hydraulics on it.
  22. I've seen them float super conductors before but that whole locking them in place is crazy, wish I was smart enough to understand what is going on there.
  23. Anybody catch this show on Speed Saturday at 10PM. Pretty cool to see these "show cars" out getting wrung out. I was really surprised at what looked like a Shelby mustang GT500 or 350, not really sure which it was or if it was one my 2 year old was demanding I play cars with him. Anyways what surprised me about it was they showed it on the autocross course and while it was making a hard left turn the left front wheel came about a foot off of the ground. I'm not a chassis guy but it seems like that car could use a some sub frame connectors at the very least. Some really nice cars on that show, the one that really caught my attention was the 1400hp 3rd generation firebird that has gone over 250mph
