Has anyone had one of these bikes? I’m looking at one as a intercity commuter. What can you tell me about them? Good? Bad? Experiences with them. Thanks.

Thats a big bike.

You should be able to mount it on the fuel rail.

Put a gauge on there man. You need one.

Maybe the regulator went bad or the fuel pump. I had that happen.

MT's work a lot better. My car made 508 and 1st gear was useless on the street and didn't hook up till top of 2nd. The MT's spin just a bit in 1st and hook after. I had 315/35/17 of both.

Lock it dude. Even if it goes down another .125% it will not change your payment too much anyhow. It will not go any lower than 4.5 on a 30 year. It has been around 4.75 for some time now.

PSI should be under 20 to make them work well. On a FWD car I would say about 15 psi. Start at 20 and go down from there.

I think it's all of them (not 100% sure). 08 and up I think this is not an issue.

BTW, make sure that you ride the bike before you buy it. 2nd gear is a weak spot on these bikes. Make sure you get on it in 1st, shift in 2nd and take it up to the red line and make sure it doesn't pop out of gear. You can back cut gear the trans to fix this if it is broke but it's about a $500-$700 fix.

Yes you can. The 32 bit ECU is supposed to be better and easier to tune. Thats what the turbo busa guys say. If it is going to be a mostly stock busa (pipe, PC, maybe a little spray), than dont shy away from an 02 or older if it is a good deal. The 32 bit ECU is supposed to deliver smoother power distribution, but a good tuner can do that for you on an 02 or older bike too.
