Its nice to see a STI in the 9's. It was going to happen sometime. Also like Mike stated the AMS 9.61 run was with full interior (both seats) and full exhaust.

Should be much better then before. After they did the groove thing two years ago, we ate tires like they were candy. Hopefully its a little better on tires with the same grip.

I was at Norwalk for that run and they didn't launch that great. They have more in that car.

What's your best time at Nelson? Nelson is a pretty easy track. There's more to life then a 1/4 mile at a time.

What Kart runs a sub minute? The fastest CHAMP car time is like a 1.04 or a 1.05.

Its not really, a T1 vette runs 1:32's and they are not allowed to even do much to them in touring classes. That was on the pro course, but that really only takes about 1.5 seconds off a lap. A T2 Evo will run around 1.40 on the club course and around 1.38 on the pro course. keep in mind that is stock turbo, cat, 93 octane, stock ECU, No boost control, ect.

Fast is a street driven car that runs in the mid 1:30's at Mid Ohio.

Not sure if you can do this on a Z06 or not, but try to find a smaller out of the way dealer with one. I got my Evo the first month they were out and I found a dealer in Chillicothe that sold it for $250 over invoice. The same time the lowest mark up dealer in Columbus was Roby at $5K.

What were the times at MO? A decently preped Z06 is pretty quick at MO in the mid 1.30's time.
