I know You can chalk your car up there with those that would've lost had he ACTUALLY came down here. Now maybe this off season, that will be a different story for you powers. Just have to wait and see I guess.

What's funny is that this Colt will beat 90% of this boards street/racer cars roll or dig (if he can launch it decently). Which includes the almighty Corvette club. Granted it's still a Dodge Colt and will always be one, but still people on here continue to knock the car. Hey it's faster than your car so I'd stop talking if I were most of you. Now me personally I don't care for Coltboy (though I've never met him), but face it: His car will beat your car.

Yeah my younger brother that couldn't do a brake job on a car, let me check the tire pressure for him. Hell, he doesn't even know what brand name of pistons is in the engine. Once again you prove your interweb smrtness powers, your really getting boring here. Stop typing to me and start bench racing this winter about how fast your car is going to be, I mean all you have to do is slap that snail on there and you'll be fast. Right? -

I believe I gave you an actual dig car, maybe you missed it. Not hearsay, but one that's actually been seen. So there could be faster, but I haven't seen any in person. -

Well, I wouldn't say those are the big dogs. Just regular racers. BTW, my bro (Cameron Shaffer) can be found toward the bottom in the Jeg's super series winning on 6/19 at Trails in the imaginable 8 sec. dragster -

Actually JP, that car is out on a regular basis at the local Millersport/Lancaster hangout spot. I think your sarcastic "So he's out at Kroger's ready to roll?" comment came back to bite you there. Yeah you can find him down there usually on a Friday night, handing unsuspecting people their asses. -

Vaughn, will the yellow Nova was it 2 years ago. That was an actual street car, not some drag only car like Lutz, Ed Parker, Howie and the like. Who claim that they can take it on the street but everyone knows they don't. Vaughn's Nova ran 7.41 I believe with a Pat Musi engine. Since then I think he's sold the car to someone out of state. Fastest actual street car I've seen lately, that's actually on street regularly is a guy in Millersport. Can't remember his name, but it's a 69 green Camaro w/ white rally stripes on 10.5 tires. Run's 8.30's all day long and always pulls the wheels up every pass. -

That will make your car fast no doubt, but it's definitly not enough to be King of Columbus by a long shot. -
Sure there powers. Say whatever you want, in the end it's all meaningless and just jibberish coming off your keyboard. It's getting boring. Sorry I don't live my life through the internet.

I said I didn't do that work from the beginning. I know my abilities, and if you want things to work/look right you better know what your doing. BTW Crystal, what exactly do you have that even makes you worthy of posting such a dumb thread?

No one on this board. -
You were basically saying I was a fake when it came to this. Well I'm putting names that I see on an almost daily basis, that are well known names in the drag racing community. No swinging here. Only 1 car is in the 8's, hopefully this dragster will turn out the same. Yeah I did all the work minus chassis and tin, nothing but the truth there. Like I said before, I really don't 'know' anyone here. A few have seen me and talked to me and the like, but no one here really goes out to the track on Sat. and Sun.. Not my fault.

Yeah Vinny. Him and his son Andy run Pat (the dad's) shop. It's in that silver building right in front of my dad's auto shop that's behind it. He rents that building from my dad, well until his new place is finished being built. Pat's been there for I think going on 3 years now. He use to be in that small building to the right of it before that.

Here's another drag name to look up powers, since you know so much: Cliff Callis, he's just some old shmuck who works out of his small machine shop (CMW) in his garage in the Reynoldsburg area. Since I'm such a fake I probably don't go with him to the track almost every weekend. Do a little research on Biodo's throttle stops, old trans brakes, etc. Guess who makes those? I knew you knew it. Better yet, check up on what new trans brakes Jesse James is running on the race cars he pushes out of his drag shop in Texas. Yup, a CMW air trans brake. But since I have no clue what I'm talking about you'll attempt to prove me wrong, right?

Powers, your such a moron. I dabbed a bit in the 240 world for awhile and was a little new to turbos, big deal. Did I ever say I know everything? No. Coming from V8 land, I know I'm not the only person who was unsure on turbos. Who the fuck cares. Again to prove again your a dumbass, PK Race Cars who does my tig stuff was, extremely busy and behind so outside of them I didn't know who to go to and I was in a rush at the time so I asked. And my Envoy is who I am and all that I want to be? I mean do you actually read the shit you type? Your personal attacks are weak and for that matter don't make any sense. As for helping people, I helped people I have never met when I could. I helped Droptop pull his tranny to put his clutch in his Mustang. I helped Jimmy Dean I believe is still his screen name on here pull his tranny out of his eclipse and put the Shep tranny back in until 2AM when I had to be at work at 7 that morning. So yeah I do help out people I don't even know when I can. So you can basically go fuck yourself there. With you being the new turbo boy, you should be able to see that my avatar is a turbo. But your so s-m-r-t that you already knew that...err wait. I've offered more than once to take some pics of the "imaginary cars" however you want, but you haven't took me up so I won't waste my time until you do. gearhead: Your the guy with a mullet that has the 12 second 460 Mustang right?
-
Ahh, the interweb. Add another dumb bitch to it. I offered proof in a couple ways, yet no one took me up on it that mattered in the discussion. You on the other hand, say something short and gay then start a thread on something you know nothing about? You understand that you fall into Powers whiny rant of daily drivers as people's "vehicles" right? Or did you not read that in your pursuit to try and get a worthless jab in? I don't really think anyone cares what you have to say in this thread.
-
I know a few people on here. Alot of my old posts were in the tech section. Someday I might own a street car people will give a shit about, until then I'll just stick to the dragster. Which is mine and I guarantee you runs mid maybe low 8's no spray.
-
Meaning I actually gave you some credit there.
-
I'm not backpedaling or taking your side on anything. Did I ever say that vettes were easy to work on? No. Then I'm not backpedaling on that now am I? Your lucky I even gave you credit for working on your car. To be truthful, your right I didn't touch EVERYTHING. Just 90% of it, so I can say I built a 8 and 9 second cars. And so sorry on putting something in the wrong section, I forgot you ran the site.
-
I don't hardly know anybody here, other than if I've seen them elsewhere besides the track. I don't build cars, just do the family cars. 1 is a blacked out dragster with red letters and the other is a 70 Maverick that is blue with a silver line down the side of it. But you have to actually go to the track other than Weds. night to see them. Like Sat. and Sun. gearhead: I can weld and all that, but I know my limits and chassis work is not easy. It takes a skill to build one from scratch. Same with tin. Sure you can cut some flat pieces and Elmer glue them together, but I want things to look good. PK Race Cars (Pat Kronenbitter) here in Pataskala does all that, including some of Jeggy Coughlin's old pro-stock Cavaliers and the like. If you actually race you know the name. I let that shit slide gearhead, people will say dumb shit to try to improve the way they feel about themselves.
-
Haha. This is winter, what else are you going to talk about? How you almost raced somebody, but they were lucky it was snowing? C'mon. Being low-key? Wtf does that have to do with anything at this point in the year? Yup, you said it your an asshole. Well, sorry Powers not everyone can fancy a Mustang and be able to put that in their sig. It's a damned shame. And no motherfucker, I basically built the car(s), mine including, except the chassis and the tin work. Next......
