Good luck finding one for a decent price that isn’t ragged and beat. I had enough of a hard time find a rust free shell for my ls swap I’m doing. I’d keep an eye out for an estate sale or one that’s been sitting in a barn before I got one from Craigslist.

If anyone needs a spot, I can sell mine since I’ll be on vacation that week and may not be able to make it.

Used stock pistons and rods out of a trans am, using an fbody crank since its gun drilled. The cost per hp for me to get a fast wasn't in the budget since I already had a shaner s2 throttle body and the ls6 intake sitting around. I've been beating on t with ls6 rod bolts for four years and man hard hard miles and it just goes everytime I turn the key lol

Should also be noted that the EARLY 5.3 blocks were the same as the 6.0 blocks and can be bored to that, but sonic checking is your friend there

Stock ls1 bore was 3.898, I have a 5.3 in the garage hats punched to that with stock pistons and rods. Been that way for three years now and made 400hp with cam and ls6 intake. Mods in sig

Just trip the main and see where it's at in the main panel

Fitting and being correct are two completely different things. After having personal expierience with having GTO wheels on my Camaro when I bought it and breaking most of the lugs, I don't see how close enough is safe.

Get one of the ones that plugs into the radio antenna and piggy backs on it. Been using one in my wife's car for years works perfect and sound is good too.
