I go to the one in graceland for lunch a lot. I kind thought they back'd off on the sauce a little. Is money that tight that they cant cover the whole wing? Shit lunch is like 10 bucks anyways.

Its cool. At least I get to know more of the car, plus fedex delivered my umi adj. pandard bar yesterday so I get to get rid of my jacked up stock one.

I cant afford a new clutch at the moment but I'll keep that in mind AJ. Im supprised by the way the flywheel looks, the clutch has a lot of crab and hasnt slipped since I have been driving it. The guys I bought the car from said they installed this clutch and it looks like they shouldnt have done the work. I went today and got a new slave and ordered a pilot bearing that should be here tomorrow. When it broke it made some noise going all the way back in the pit. Do you think I could have broke something in the trans? Is there anyway to tell with breaking the trans down?

Well last night I took the SS to my local drag strip for its first time since I got it. I get lined up for my first pass and take off easy (2.4 60ft) and start rowing threw the gears. I get to my 3-4 shift and the car doesn't go into 4th gear and grinds. I take my foot off the clutch and press back down and it goes to the floor with like almost no resentence. The pedal stays close to the floor for the rest of the run and there is a rattling noise coming from the trans/clutch area. I just pulled the shifter into neutral and coasted into the pit. I tried to push the clutch back in once I got it stopped but it just stays down, so I shut the car off and shifted threw the gears and it appears to shift fine. The car has a B&M shifter and the guy I bought it from said it had a new centerforce clutch and new flywheel and new slave and master. So fast forward to today and I pulled the trans and im not sure but I think the weights? on the pressure plate are broken? Im not sure if this is right but you can move the the ring of weights around on the plate. I don’t see any leaks and the spring on the slave isn’t broken. This doesnt appear to be a GM one, or the aftermarket ones not as strong.

I bought it like a month ago and have had to do a bunch of little shit to it to make it safe and right. The car was hit in the front and the radiator wasnt installed right, the brakes were gone, the O2 harnes they made from what looked like speaker wire melted on the headers, the engine harness was pinched between the coil pack and the heater box. Its been on the lift at my house for at least 3 weeks and I have have just been dying to put some miles on it. Im hit'n up 42 tomorrow night to see what it will do.

Yea im probably going to sandblast them and paint them when I get some time. I'm just injoying driving it now.

hahaha o man. I was looking at the strano spring and shock combo but with that being like 1700 huh that might be a while away. I'd like to redo the front suspension and get a cam in it this winter.

I posted up a couple weeks ago that I was thinking about selling these zo6 wheels that came on my SS when I bought it. All had some damage but one of the rear wheels had most of the lip destroyed and had a nasty scratch on the face. I saw an ad on here for Wheel Medic and figured I'd ask them how much it would cost to fix them. CobraMike got back to me and shot me a price but said he wanted to look at them. There shop is close to where I work so the next day I loaded them up and drove over. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I don't remember every ones name but the all the techs were great to deal with and talk to. They showed me around there shop and showed me some of wheels and things they were working on. We decided that black would look good on the wheels and that they could repair the damage no problem. So I dropped them off and they had them done and my new tires mounted in no time. I have 2 O2 sensor simulators of my 2000 SS I'd like to sell. Im not sure who makes them but they have a red LED on them. 40.00 each obo

Does anyone sell a kit that you can make your own o2 extension harnesses. I saw that jegs sells caspers 24 inch one for like 25.00. That just seems like a lot to me for some reason. Or does anyone in town sell them for cheaper.
