Yea, I think my mind is set on a 2004.5 GLI that i've been looking at. I'm getting a killer deal on it and its in perfect shape inside/out.

I've always had a sweet spot for these cars along w/ subaru wrx's and if I could find one for the right price then I would go w/ it rather then the wrx. what are some pros/cons of these cars and would I have any problems if I just wanted to put a few aftermarket parts on it (chip,exhaust,other small stuff) thanks, Paul:cool:

I think what i'll prolly end up doing is flying down and driving back. he can bring the car to jacksonville, fl airport and I can just drive it back to ohio. flight including taxes would be $127 and the ride back will take around 13hrs lol. but i'll use under $100 in gas. soo so I think this will be the cheaper route

The new owner drove up from south carolina today to buy it. He liked everything about it and had a big smile on his face. I'm glad it went to a good person b/c he seemed really cool and knows about cars well since he's a mechanic.
