I've gotta agree with the 2 docs in this thread. Psych meds have their place. My opinion is only based on a single quarter of mental health nursing, which was enough convincing for me on their effectiveness. As Kirk said, perhaps some are a bit over-prescribed, but, who am I to judge? I'm not the psych doc.

Depends on what I'm using it for. If I was carrying one into the field, I'd probably go for a loose fitting base model Springer. For entry-level match grade, I'd take my DW. For a high end custom, well, I'd have to seriously think about who I'd want to build it. There's a bunch of choices there.

I've shot both a Springfield GI, MilSpec, and a Para GI expert, and IMO the Para felt nicer. Granted, I only put about 7 rounds through each, so trigger time is lacking to get a true comparison. I avoid Taurus autoloaders in general. I'm sure they're ok, but it's just personal preference. Copperhead has a RIA that he loves, and they're fairly cheap, though reliable. You might check into one of those. My Dad's got a Springfield Milspec which, I believe, is just a parked GI. Shoots great for the price. One thing I did notice is that the Para had a better trigger pull than the low end Springers. /random thoughts

To do it properly, you should have a sight pusher. I've heard xD's and M&Ps are pretty hard to move with just a hammer and punch; Glocks are cake (insert Glock>all joke here). You could do as Copperhead said, and send it back to S&W, or, you could stop by Vances or the like and have them use a sight pusher and have it fixed in about 5 minutes.
