  1. No. But I used to have a 1999 Kawasaki KX100 2-stroke dirtbike when I was like 12-13, that would make the garage door go up and down if you started it within 20 ft of the house. Never did figure that one out.
  2. Sign up for the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
  3. I <3 Morgan Freeman. It'll be a sad day when he passes.
  4. I'd rather have the 360PD, too, over the 340. I like having the exposed hammer. Someday, I'll be getting one.
  5. Good guns. C6 Rob has a fullsize 9mm variant that is an excellent shooters. IMO, it'd be a bit heavy to CCW, but, you said you're looking for a compact, so.... . I believe that Armalite (and possibly IMI by now) makes a polymer version of the gun as well. You could also take a look at the CZ 75 which is what the Baby Eagle is copied off of. Though, I hear the BE is a better version. If it's for CCW, though, I've gotta agree with Scott. Go with one of the proven tupperware guns. They might not feel the best, but you absolutely can't hurt them.
  6. My monitor says Acer. What does that mean?
  7. I went with a similar design. 5 drive wheels on the bottom. 5 reverse wheels on top, each with a catapult-type arm, and a reverse wheel in front. Balls were flying everywhere.
  8. I like the real estate. The people and ideals that dwell upon it..............no so much.
  9. No kidding. He got some +rep outta that one.
  10. You make gun crew sad. Scott needs to buy this though. I still haven't finished piecing together my 10FCP, or my 3 ARs that I need to finish. I did get my 870HD just yesterday though. Destroyed many a birds on her maiden voyage. :bangbang:
  11. Mallard said it better than I could. HP is a factor of TQ. IIRC, dynos measure torque, and calculate HP from that. HP = TQ x RPM / 5252 Now, I can't remember exactly why the magical number is 5252, but I Googled it at some point, but have forgotten since. HP and TQ are always the same at 5252. Always.
  12. Huh? Here's what I'm saying in picture form. They 'cross', just not on this graph, due to the way it's plotted. http://i38.tinypic.com/14wqc5i.jpg
  13. no California floating in the ocean, no care.
  14. That absolutely does make a difference. Just look at the graph. Find the '600' mark on the left side of the graph, follow the line across to the right side. You'll see what I'm talking about. What he said.
  15. The Y-scale on the left, and the Y-scale on the right are at different intervals.
  16. Also just read that Development on the Javelin has been suspended due to lack of funding. So, guess that means no military trainer.
  17. I can't find where I read it (may not even be a credible source), but, I did pull this directly from ATG's website. Doesn't mention it as a T-38 replacement, but does mention it as a military trainer. Javelin Mk-20 Military Trainer Military training is undergoing fundamental changes. Most training systems are 25 to 40 years old and reflect an era when fighter aircraft were difficult to fly and weapons employment was relatively simple. However, the complexity of the modern battlefield and the sophisticated technology of fighter aircraft place a heavier burden on the modern fighter pilot. Aviators of the 21st century must simultaneously push the envelope, analyze real-time systems data, and rapidly make command decisions while operating under extreme stress. Defense budgets are shrinking, making affordability crucial. Approximately 47% of the world's advanced trainer fleet is more than 20 years old. These older trainers are difficult and expensive to maintain compared to modern systems. The Javelin Mk-20 is a result of a cooperative effort between ATG and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to address the global need for a next generation trainer that cannot be matched. The Javelin Mk-20 is an innovative concept based on ATG's civilian two-seat Javelin jet and is optimally suited for a variety of advanced military training and support requirements.
  18. Joker: So how many of your friends have I killed? Cop: 6 Joker: [while lipping it with surprise] - 6??? I was looking away during the pencil trick. I assume the guy ate it?
  19. The ATG Javelin I posted above will eventually be replacing those as the military's jet-powered trainer.
  20. I see you talk more about how good you and The Kitchen USED to be than I do anything else. I don't think I've yet to see a single funny or epic flame-filled post from you in 4+ years. Let it go, Gramps. :bangbang: P.S. I do agree that The Kitchen isn't what it used to be. It's filled with useless posts from all of our new, useless members. See Fubar231 for reference to new, useless members. I'd put on my flamesuit, but I just don't expect much of a response. Hope I'm wrong.
